Yes, but its usually:
More races = less depth and uniqueness for each of them.

yup
they generally do a great job (with the exception of WoW, but lets not go there, they got their money, so its obviously a success on a commercial level) ...and they have to add the xel'naga, even if in bonus stages and such, like the hybrids in the original SC (or ...well, the expansion)

I can't say anything about WoW because I haven't played it due to lack of time, but all the other games =great just like Lith-Maethor said
maybe the Xel'naga will be in the expansion like the nagas were in TFT

From SC2 interview at GameSpot
Quote: According to vice president of creative development Chris Metzen, all three characters will reappear in Starcraft II's campaign in some fashion, and according to creative director Andy Chambers, the enigmatic Xel'Naga, the mysterious race that helped the Zerg and Protoss evolve into what they are, will also figure prominently into Starcraft II's story. Over the course of the single-player game, you'll explore new worlds associated with the story, such as the new Protoss world of Bel'Shir, an abandoned religious retreat that has fallen into ruin after a Zerg invasion, and the deep-space Terran base of Braxis Alpha, a craggy world covered in spots by industrial sprawl. You'll also see familiar worlds, like the volcanic Zerg home planet of Char.
For the record, I am a total SC addict

Alrighty, Ive screen shoted the pics from my Exclusive CD. Took me a while to get 'em 'cause of some problems with HD, but here are some pics:
(the movie has action, I just am showing the units gone over.)
If you want to see the whole movie go buy the august edition of PC Gamer.
EDIT: sorry I took that last pic too early in order to get a good shot of it, but that was a twilight archon.

Sweet! Cool pics you've found.
I like the new look of the photon cannon. I can't really tell what the Soul Hunter is, but it looks like a dark templar ship, one possibly used for scouting because it looks lightly armoured. The Tempest is just total awesomeness, it looks like a dark carrier. Same thoughts about the Twilight Archon, possibly a new version of the old Dark Archon?
Anyways, can't wait for more updates on it.

Why is it called Twilight?
It should be called Archon, like it used to be called!!
However, if it is called Twilight Archon that might be alright.

I didn't find them I took them. Ive seen the small intro movie that goes with each.
Soul Hunters are anti infantry that take the souls of units (only units w/ souls, doesn't work on robots), and uses them to power it's laser gun. Because Starcraft 2 is more army based and units aren't expected to last as long its on kill per laser. (they start out using one, then two, and it stops at three)
However they arn't really lasers, I just used that to simplify.
Tempest is the new carrier w/ HEAVY anti ground shields but weeak vs. air.
Twilight Archons are one of the new archons.
The new cannon is slightly different, mainly in that it can move.
I currently have info on the protoss units; Zealot, Stalker (Alt. Dragoon), Immortal (Dragoon), Observer, Colossus, Phoenix (Scout), Phase Prism, Warp Ray, Mothership, High Templar, dark Templar, Twilight Archon, Tempest (Dark Carrier), Soul Hunter, Reaver, Phase Cannon, Star Relic. Terran units: Marine, Seige Tank, Reaper, Battlecruiser, Ghost*, Nuke*. Zerg: Zerglings, Mutalisk, Nydus Worms, Banelings*.
Units with Asterisk (*) I only have information from online, so potentially you know what I know.

There is also a zerg unit called Succubus and from what I've read it's a female infested terran.
Maybe the twilight archon is formed from a high and a dark templar, hence the name - twilight, where light meets dark.

From what I have understood, it can be made from all combinations, high+high, high+dark or dark+dark. Theres info about the unit on official site.

Yeah, thats what I understood too. But you'd think that a twilight archon would be light and dark, not any combonation of them. Oh well, they look awesome anyways.

I have the feeling Starcraft is not going to live up to the original. See the original was a wonder at the time, but with the second Starcraft looking like a copy of the first, but with better graphics, I think it is going to fall short.
A rehash of Starcraft just won't be as wonderous as it was some years ago. I mean we have great new RTS games like Company of Heroes that I think will just stand over Starcraft 2 because they have more features that made them unique than just the classic gather resources, build, and attack RTS games.
