Nomad thing? and the new improved: Siege tank. muhaha.

Nomad sounds like a smart trick, but I dont think it will be used that much

and siege tank is an old love to me.

I don't think the siege tank will be much different in terms of gameplay, they just said it got improved to make sense storywise, and even if they are less vulnerable in a minor way now the zealot got its charge attack which makes it even.

I'll bet the new tank will consume 3 supplies and be far more powerful armor/damage-wise than predecessor.

I think, atleast that was what i understood from the text, that the siege att. will be the same powerful but they have improved the moveable att. power and dmg. making it better for assaults.

maybe it's attack will be increased but to give him the siege damage while mobile is way overpowered

Not what i ment more that they improved normal att, and did nothing to siege att. So they are better in mobile fight and the same in ranged.

Well IMO if they significantly improve existing tank(they mentioned durability) we would get an overpowered unit - current tanks are great!
If they would make some drawbacks, I have no idea where to put them. Siege damage is what this unit is for, so it must not be nerfed. Maybe they would move more slowly then? Or there would be a cooldown between swithing modes?

Probaly. Maybe some kind of "choice of tactics" , where you have to choose between siege or assault, so you train units in the ways of your warfair tactics. Could be interresting.

I think you'll get the siege mode upgrd and another one that improves its firepower on normal mode.

Yes, the Zerg did infest some Terran, not most of them though. The story of Kerrigan goes like this:
Kerrigan was specially gifted ghost (a human with psionic abilities) and a soldier for the commander, Arcturas Mengsk. While on a mission, she meets up with a marshal named Jim raynor, of the planet she's assigned to. They get a bit closer and become friends. They then go on another mission together, but there is a huge Zerg ambush. Raynor escapes with Mengsk, while Sarah Kerrigan is left to die (as far as everyone thinks). Later into the story when you play as Zerg, you have to protect a crysalis which contains something extremly important to the Overmind. When it hatches, its not just some Zerg creature..its Kerrigan, and she's been infested by the Zerg! For a while she serves under the Overmind, but eventually breaks free of its control when it was weakened. She temporarily allies with the Terran and Protoss to destroy the Overmind once and for all and gains control over the majority of Zerg forces.
There is also the appearance of Samir Duran, who first appears to be a ghost, then an infested terran ghost. But in fact, he is neither of these. It is thought that he is a Xel'Naga because he posseses vast knowledge of all 3 races, explains that he serves a much greater power, and that he has had many names over the millenia. In the secret bonus mission in Brood War you also discover that he was attempting to create Protoss/Zerg hybrids, also hinting that he is a Xel'Naga because he was trying to unite the 2 races into one.



Thanks for the juicy refresher! Man A buddy of mine and I played SC for many years. Maybe I should bring it up from the dust to play it again Now how to get access to that secret mission in Brood War?

In brood war, during the zerg campain, there is a mission where you have to destroy al of the teran forces within 30 minutes. If you beat this mission within 20 or 25 minutes(dont remeber) you get a bonus mission afterwards where you play as zeratul, commanding a small protoss army (including dark archons) ad have t investigate/destroy all of the statsis tanks with said protozerg hybrids inside.

That video makes me want to load the SC1 CD and build about 1000 zergling and hotkey them for a mass attack.

too bad that stupid 12 units per group limit kills the happy massing.

You can always try C&C3 before SC2 comes out. Although the patches changed the gameplay significantly. Before that it was just mass scorps, and after scorps got nerfed, everybody massed rocket soldiers.

Right now everybody masses predator tanks
