Sory, but i failed to see your point. Poor town portal can be made with 1 pikeman if you have tactics or 3 split ones, if you are afraid of moral of the faster units.
It doesnt matter if you will retreat with single dragon fly or 1 pikeman.
This is just retreating.
We are talking about saving your army from lost fights

It makes a big difference if you retreat after having moved that day for ex. You can rehire the hero next day when you have maybe more money and he will have max speed. If rehire same day you don't need to chain to give him max speed with another dragonfly. I know it seems not big advantage but a DG can be replaced also for an angel (etc) and the main hero will be able to make fights in places he could not normally except insane chaining and even then the other troops can be used elsewhere. I say it's too easy like that, it's just my opinion though .

Its very rare to wait for the next day to rehire. If you escape with just one DF, than it will be not much money to rehire. So its not a practical issue.
And even if it happen to wait a day, and have full movement points - so what? You wasted SEVERAL days movement to go back from your castle, so some more movement points is not big deal. It will surely set you back.

There is one new idea. Can you put a number to the stacks of the neutral creatures in battle, when offcourse they are more than 1 stack.
Whan playing with cranim they move very fast and sometimes its confusing to remember whos the first one and the next in sequence.
And this is very important in order to know which one to hit/block/ get retall...
Maybe some small number with specific color - 1 to 7.

yes, we planned to do so. Also, maybe some hint about has stack waited or not. Also, we planned to do information box with list of spells on stack and their duration

What happened with that idea? I find it very interesting. That way two level 7 dwelling will not be such a pain. And generaly having/not having certain dwells will not be as decisive.
At least it might be optional.

Yes, you are right. It can be observed as a player agreed rule. But why you need to count your troops all the time. If you have 2 dwells for pikes, 1 for crusaders, 2 for griffins...
And what if you play long game... it would be annoying to take care not to forget and buy all the troops. Or to count how many you may recruit.

Update re: simultaneous turns. Only blue player will be able to make such turns. However, his real turns will be much shorter, so
Red will not wait a lot 90% work done already (by ASM)

Please, explain a little bit more.
What i understand is the following:
Both players start their turn simultaniously. If blue is ready first - he waits. If red is ready first - he may give turn, but then he needs to wait for blue to return his turn.
Is there any date set for the patch to be realeased? And will it work only with the new TE, or it may be used with the current version.
And how it goes with the other developements.

And is there a full list of the new features? Because here in this threat a lot of suggestions was discused, but i dont know if all are possible to be made.

yet, no. But next version may be.
I tested new algorithm for save repley (other than SAG), it works fine. It uses the built-repeat turn. It does not record the battle, but I think in the future it will be possible to do something.

No progress so far from my side. However ASM made experiment with natural replay, so maybe we will do it as it should be.

I just saw that you intent to block autocombat in tactics. I didnt know its regarded as bug. I awlays tought that its a feature of heroes, that can be used. Why not 2 hex units be more important than 1 hex?
Still, its not a problem, but i never knew its considered a bug.

I saw that there is a lot of changes discused: for cons, tomes, red orb... please - do it optional. I realy would not like a game, where wisdom is obligatory for the tomes. And the changes of red orb... please dont, better put the option to ban it completely, but it MUST be optional.
There is changes in clases - thats not good in my opinion, because people just got used to the clases - now yo change it completely. Too much changes is not good.
