It's not in the top 10 there. In fact, it is not there at all. That disuqualifies the site for me as a source of h3 maps.

mapsforheroes is the best maps hosting site atm, dopn't ignore it. As for ratings, authors often rate their map with 10, to trigger curiosity, so there is no top ten. There are all kind of maps inside, the owner does not select or review, he just store them on demand. From bad to exceptional, you find everything inside.

Which skills will I need in the game? I don't remember, I haven't played it for like 7 years.
Logistics, Leadership, Wisdom, Water is what I have for starters.
I have the version June 2004 on my comp (the mapmaker sent it to me back then, also sent some instructions but the mailbox I had it in was lost).

I gave you link to recent version. You can't pick skills there, they are preset, to eliminate certain combos, like expert fire magic + berskerk that makes most of fights on that map trivial. In last version of the map main hero has always same skills.

Thank you. So that's why I never worried about my skills. That is the version of the map I have too (the one I had stored is the same that you uploaded).
Do you have some readme for it too? I'm not sure if I ever did, if I did, I've lost it.
This is more recent than the version up on ByteBandit however, and that had me a little worried, that's why I asked around. Do you know what the differences are between Sod V2 and Sod?

bug in version 2
Hey i would like to report pub in Unleashing the Bloodthirsty v2.h3m
after day 420, Mr. dragon should attack El Reguaeldo with the Orb. He has lots of dragons but he miss the event on 3.5.1(or 0 - in underground:-) to grain 96 to each skill. How is it possible? There is no way how to miss it and the event is to player 4 (green) so its to him.
He came to fight with no stuts so it was easy to kill and with his ORb finish map.
Btw this si hardest and coolest map i ever play. It realy show the players skill in HoMaM.
I will try to finish it without his orb but its snowing hard. Day 420 and im yet going to take Teals Castle on island :-(
P.S.: one time i had more than 1 bilion gold :-D

Good evening
After I completed some nice maps I decided to start this map  But now I am stuck in tower area.. Well, the big problem is that the enemy has cape of velocity so his strongest hero always starts with his titans and shoots half of my elves and then casts haste (and with the cape all his troops reach my army in 1st round..) so I wonder is there any chance to beat him..  If I could start the battle it could be possible to beat him I think.
I managed to capture all his towns but his army is quite big.. I saw a black market. It was empty and I suppose that he got his cape from there.. I can't believe that I was so unlucky  maybe i should redo this all again from the beginning.. *sigh*
edit: or I should not I managed to beat him with quite big losses, only elves survived That was quite tough city battle though.. no problem anymore

The white tent is in the homelands of the orange player.
If everything runs normal, orange player will open the white boarder guards himself(swamp region), after his superman (Sentinel) on the small island north west of Regüeldo visits the brown tent. You will give this guy that opportunity because you open the black boarder which prisons him there.
So no need for you to visit the white tent before, you will need it first in orange area later.

I tried this map long time ago (see my previous post here) but I stuck with Italianos... didn't manage to pass elleshar so I surrendered the whole map

Hi everybody,
I really want to play this map again but am a bit confused about which version of the map is the best.
I currently have 2 versions : Unleashing the Bloodthirsty SOD.h3m and Unleashing the Bloodthirsty SOD V2.h3m.
However in both those versions there are only 4 skills determined at the beginning. Can someone give me link to the final version where the skills can't be picked as the link that was given by ae1337 is expired.

There's only 4 skills determined in the beginning, but there are only 4 possible skills you can gain by level-up (Earth Magic + Tactics + Offense + Archery), so all 8 skills are basically pre-determined from the beginning in any SOD version. Play v2 for a more challenging Dragonmaster fight.
A tip - try to start with Spirit of Oppression. It's probably the most useful starting artifact.
