Nice, it recalls me the 6 manticores + harpies vs 1500 dragons fight on lords of the rings where I had to reload that battle for 3 hours until they entangled all dragons. I get it but this sounds like cheat to me, when you have to resort to such strategies, why not stick to wog, give that ability to creatures then save wasted weeks of your life.

Maybe you are right, i was never into WOG, but i think i should try it when i start a new map.
Anyway i dont understand how Season could finish this map in less than 100 day. Maybe i just went the wrong way, but after defeating Serena i had to waste like a month to run and swim around, searching for the second enemy.

What do you mean second enemy? Aren't you supposed to go conquer the Strongholds after beating Serena?

I mean rampart heroes (Italianos, as you call em). I'm on m4w2 now and just started the war against them, 1 month passed since i defeated Serena.

Btw i just defeated Cagoni (Rampart leader). Very easy fight, not really sure, why some people gave up when trying to defeat him. Just use force field to block your key troops inside the castle and destroy his catapult. He casts some buffs, then clones his pegaci every turn (arrow towers kill a clone constantly) untill his mana runs out. The rest is easy.

I suggest to blind his dwarves and trees ASAP just in case he has a teleport spell (he didnt have it in my case) and also use forgetfulness not blind against his elves cause sometimes your dumb tower can target elves even if they are blinded.

I didn't have Forcefield when I defeated the main Rampart hero. That might be why people struggled (I still beat him though).

Force field isnt prohibited on that map so you must be VERY unlucky if you didnt get it after capturing somewhat like 15 towns.
How did you kill him w/o force field? Did you attack him inside the town and summon elementals untill he wasted all his manas?

It was 9 towns that had a level 3 Mage Guild at that time (4 Fortresses + 4 Towers + 1 Stronghold), but yeah pretty unlucky. I also didn't get Anti-Magic until I re-conquered the starting town >_>
I attacked him in a siege (for me the main hero was Zero P**e (Clancy)). First turn his Gold Dragons flew in front of his Grand Elves, so I cast Berserk on the Elves so that they attack the Gold Dragons and killed themselves. Second turn I teleported my own Elves in so that he'll kill them and won't fly out. Then I cloned Behemoths through the wall and killed his Gold Dragons. Then he cast Frenzy on his Pegasi every turn (for some reason), so I let him waste his spellpoints, then resurrected Elves and shot everything down.

Well I used the same force field tactic like above but then AI teleports an unit inside like elves for example which destroys ammo cart and then it is over since my elves will run out of shots... And sometimes when I need to cast a force field again when he has 1-dex units inside, they manage to kill rust dragons and in the next turn goldies kill the rest...

I made a good progress this weekend defeating all major enemies besides Sena and Dragonmaster. Most fights are easy, nothing even close to Serena fight, you only need to either blind everyone or hide your shooters behind force field and wait untill enemy wastes all his mana. I remember some hard foes and first of all necromancer's leader (troops immune to blind plus 2 one-hexed fast flyers) followed by some mighty overlords.
Btw i noticed that most enemies on that map have an army of 6 big stacks and also 1 small stack of random creatures they got from dwellings or as followers. These small stacks are very important cause you can hypnotize them and then use as a shield for your main troops. As an exemple: this is how i killed an overlord with 1500 blacks having less than 2k elves:

I won this at the beginning of month 7.
Once again ALL fights can be done with only elves and some small supportive stacks, you dont need to wait for more troops to come. All those hydras and behemots will be useless and u will only waste them. I still can not understand how can it be done in 3 months only, the problem is the distances betweeen the enemies, you waste a lot of time just moving from one to another.

It is possible to hide behind force field elves, archdevils (for speed) and ammo cart. But many AI have Meteor shower, slow and implosion so I don't see how ammo cart end elves survive.

Even w/o ammo cart elves can kill most enemies with their 24 shots, just use frenzy and dont shoot if you cant cast it the same turn. Then you always can clone your elves and keep shooting (clones always have full ammo even if you clone a stack who wasted all his shoots).
About AI casting some magic: if he slows you can just antimagic your devils. The only think he can do then is using dispell but AI heroes do not like this spell, normally if AI cant catch your troops behind a force field he blinds elves and starts summoning clones and elementals so you only have to wait untill he wastes all his manas.

Nice, you were a month faster than me. I actually used Titans (once I got them) for almost all fights myself (not Rampart). How did you beat Dragonmaster with just Elves? I had to use Behemoths (4k was enough to kill all Enchanters in one hit).

eh...wait, Dragonmaster doesnt have enchanterers In my game he had 2 stacks of dragons, 2 stacks of mantis, 2 stacks of minos and 1 stack of medusaes, thats all. with such army he was easy to kill. i protected archdevils, elves and ammo cart with force field and blinded medusaes, his minotaurus couldn leave castle cause my catapult got destroyed on turn 2. then he was casting clone every turn untill he wasted all his manas, the rest is easy.

Shows how wrong is to give 50 spells to AI. He should give him only cure and dispel (he has already but too many choices) then have a really challenging battle.

Ah, you have the first version. Well, in SOD V2 (think only this fight and time limit were changed), he has this army:
As well as Badge of Courage, Armor of the Damned, Bow of the Sharpshooter, 35% Resistance, and +4 Speed. Obviously a much tougher fight in this version. Fear is annoying as hell in this one.

You show yourself the way to get him easily, one creature immune to armor of damned, Armageddon and keep hit and run.

Yeah, after like 50 scouts with Armageddon you'll take out a whole 6% of his troops! ;P
Anyways, I meant just with one battle. That's a huge waste of time if I can beat him straight-up (which I did) and I like to see a lower number of days on my highscore. I didn't even get the tavern so yeah, would add a lot of days.
