After reading Binabik's post a few times I am finding it awfully hard to believe that he only drinks decaf...At the same time however, I'm thinking if that's how his brain works without the influence of caffeine, what fun could ensue should we pull a little switch-a-roo

So yeah...about the whole scissors thing, that's really tough. I'm wondering though - wouldn't it have made some sense to change the shirt after all that? I mean, aren't you cold with that tattered rag barely hanging on to you? I suppose it could be the start of a new trend, the old "Castaway Look" eh?

After putting the baby bird back in it's nest, carefully pokes his head in the door to see if it's safe to go back inside. After inspecting every corner, sits at his table and unfolds the newspaper, reaching for his cup of decaf......every one of his senses screaming "trap".

{ooh, double posting - don't tell RSF!}
So this last week its been fiercely cold...-33c (with windchill) has been the norm around here. In fahrenheit that's -27.4f for those of you who use that other system...
Usually the ponds by my house are a haven, but when its that cold out - passing by them is hellish ... its a wide open space with nothing to shield you from the wind. Brrrrrrr....
I've spent much of my days under a thin film of ice.. but now our temperatures have warmed, and it's a balmy -2c (28.4f).
Anyways, I just wanted to write here to say Thank You to the coffee, for helping me survive the deep freeze.
Thanks Coffee, I love you !

Its so cold my house is colder then the outside(now I know why my words are blue)After a day the owner put the heat upThen a hour later it got cold AGAIN!!!!BRRRR!!!

My own home is now the Coffee House 
One of the Department Managers where my husband works, is also the owner of a local Coffee Shop. ( One of few to survive the coming of the great Starbucks ) I help her out with little things from time to time -- and no I won't say what, I'll leave you to your imaginings -- and this year she repaid me with Coffee!
She gave me a Large Bag of their house blend of beans (Yummers!!!) and as well she gave me over a dozen different flavoured coffees too try out.
My kids have their chocolate candy advent calendars to mark each of the days before Christmas, and I have a new flavour of yummy coffee for myself!
So far my favorite is the Caramel Creme coffee... not only is it Yummalicious, but it also makes the whole house smell sooooo goood 
I love her in the way I can only love one who makes awesome coffee

Fairly Obvious . . .
What you help her with Pandora. You babysit the same as me. It's good honest work. How do I know this? Because I've been expected by so many people to work without getting paid. And then what do they try to offer me for my services? They'll offer anything but money. That's what many people think of babysitters. They think we shouldn't get paid; or they think babysitting isn't "work". They expect you should simply do it without questions and opinions. "Oh I'll pay you!" (Few weeks later: Sorry I don't have the money right now. We used it to pay the bills. We're going through a really tough time at the moment. Here, take this (anything but money) it's all I can give you.)
Some people clearly do not have a very reasonable understanding of just how important a good and reliable babysitter is. Is there any such comparable price one can place upon the value a confident, well organized, and disciplined child? I think not. But then what would I know? I am, after all, 'only a man'.

lol Consis - you are terrible... let a boys imagination out for a wander and just look where it goes!
So I had a afunny coffee experience the other day, okay, maybe a month ago.... I went to Tim Horton's to buy a canister of coffee (for those of you who aren't Canadian, Tim Horton's coffee is like what heaven would be if it were a finely ground bean) .
On that particular day however, I brought the body but left the brain at home.. and forgot Timmy's rule #1 - cash only! So I stood in line for nearly 30 mins only to be denied! I was pitifully waving my credit cards and bank card at the poor clerk, begging for my coffee - I even offered my duaghter as a trade (okay, that's not true - I offered the boy) And of course, no ATM's anywhere nearby...
But anyways, I got no coffee. I was sad like you can't even imagine. Later of course, I went to a bank to get cash, and I got my coffee. I am drinking some right now, which is what made the story pop into my head.

I'm sitting here buzzed on coffee and trying to find an excuse not to mow the lawn.
Like I said, I started drinking caffinated coffee as part of my weight loss program. But only a little bit. I only use about 1/4 - 1/2 caffinated per pot and the rest is decaf. Even that little bit keeps me going for hours. I have to drink it first thing in the day or I won't sleep at night.

I drink a few post per day, lol If I don't it triggers a migraine that near kills me, so I won't change
I spent the morning raking today, but now its so bloody windy that you can hardly tell unless you compare mine to the neighbors' lol
