Fortunately I don't know any Donna Summer songs, so I can't get any running through my head.
Oh, yea, leaves. I forgot to upload my maple tree picture. Here it is. It looks weird because it's two pictures put together and the shadows make it obvious they were taken different times of day. (it also wasn't me who put them together, I would have done a better job )
It was planted when I was a little baby. It grew bigger than me.

Oh Boy What A Mess
Britney Spears has lost custody of her children. I just want to say, "Where are you buddies, Madonna and Paris Hilton now? You made your choices. Now you get the consequences Hun."
I don't usually wax about celebrity nonsense but this time the courts were well within their rights. I don't think this woman has her priorities straight.
I'll enjoy thinking about this more over a good cup of coffee tomorrow morning. Oh and I'm not a drive-by poster silly I have been making posts and threads that NO ONE responds to! Such is the nature of my experience here. I seem to have that affect on the other members.

So that's where you've been Consis? Feeling ignored so you thought you'd start scanning the celebrity blogger gossip sites? lol
I can just picture you in your garage reading the latest exploits of the panty-less wonders saying
"Oh no she di'int!!"
I feel bad for Britney, imagine being surrounded by people 24/7 that don't give a damn about you and just want their paycheque. Maybe time without her kids will give her the wakeup call she seems to be in desperate need of.
Actually, I feel sorry for all those young celebrities now - the paparazzi have become so much worse than I can ever recall - I remember when there was just a few of those tabloid magazines out there, and now there are dozens - not to mention all the websites that exist... It must be really tough to hang onto 'normal' for them. half those girls are either on drugs or alcohol, or their diets consist of one mint per week... scary stuff.
But anyhooo - I have my coffee, so life here is all good. Getting nippy though, almost time to get the dogs ready for some sleddering

My thoughts exactly. I don't understand celebrity worship and the entire celebrity culture thing (I mean I do, but I don't want to LOL). Following her MTV Awards performance, Britney got more coverage than Iraq. Leave her alone!

Its so hard not to watch it though, because its everywhere - and then it becomes a soap opera hehe You have to remind yourself sometimes that these are real people and it's their lives on display.
But I guess for the money they make, I can't say I feel too sorry for some of them Especially those like Paris Hilton, I don't know what skills she has beyond cashing cheques...

I love windy days during leaf season. If it's windy enough I don't have to rake. But if it's only a little windy I just end up with my neighbors leaves.
About a half mug of coffee left, then I'm done for the day.
And yea, it's cooled too much because I had to get rid of the saleslady at the door and she continued to give a demonstration even though I said I wasn't interested.

I did do the Freud test, and then my ie decided to crash out, so i didn't copy the result. I'm somewhat perverted it seems
I drank my pot of coffee already, but the cool fall air seemed to call for tea so I've made the switch.
What you need to do about those salespeople Binabik - is hang on to some sort of religious papers, like Watchtower or a mormon pamphlet - and then when they come to the door, you tell them you'd be happy to hear them out if they'll hear your message of peace, that usually gets rid of them
