I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say there, Ghost... but I do envy straight couples for having more holes to do stuff with. Fortunaly, we're all equals in that we male or female have useable throats.

Mainly because it's meant as an insult. Secondly, if it's believed either by a girl or by family, it means the insult has grown into something that needs to be explained.
As such it's the fear of being seen as gay by common peers, and not be accepted, which is a subgroup of group pressure.
To be honest though, after having isolated myself from my common comrades, I find that being called that kind of stuff not to be annoying for the same reasons. Not it's annoying due to lack of activities which could be of higher relevance than reflecting over why someone would yell at you.
