You should be one Omega. Anybody can be a guest judge. So go ahead and start marking . Just remember you only have a certain ammount of time to judge entries.
PS meant to take the necropolipse out of the contest because it was nowhere near done. Too late now tho. I am dreading the scores for that one.

Actually think I will try (note the try part) to rate these. May not rate them all (there are a whole lot), but will try.

Damn. I had a positive review coming for that one. I don't think I'll follow the index order today. I'll rather review them in the order I see them in the main page.

Hehe, too late to take it out of the contest now. So it remains. Even if it is half finished.

I've been reading the entries, and I've managed to mark some of them already. I actually started reading them to details in the last days, so the marking process won't take ages for me.
These are the marks of the faction I've rated so far:
Netherworld, by Golemcrafter - 45
The Portal, by Baklava - 44
War Palace, by actionjack - 43
Shrine, by actionjack - 43
The Hexed, by Mytical - 42
The Slaghter, by enamelity - 42
The Citadel of Night Elves, by radar - 41
The Tower, by Card_Ximinez - 41
The Citadel of the Forgotten, by Guarder - 40
Saurid, by War-overlord - 40
The Den, by Daystar - 40
Sanctuary, by Xerox - 39
The Pallas, by Snatch - 39
Freebooters, by bixie - 38
The Darkwood, by Orfinn - 37
The Highlanders, by fullmetal - 35
The Glaciar, by Lord_Evil - 33
The Sanctrum, by winterfate - 32
The Swamp, by nickkkk - 22
Well, I assume I started with the easy job: marking the good ones. Marking the least good and the excellent is harder, although I have marked a bit of those two groups, even if not all my marks are posted yet.
A note for all the competitors that decided to judge:
This is a very delicate situation, that a competitor can judge the people that compete with him/her. Yes, you have an effect here, and I'm afraid to see sparkles of people that use this effect to their own adventage. I've noticed that some competitors get low marks, and after they see that, they enter some threads, and "bombard" them with very low marks. That kind of judging creates chains that we do not want to start. Please avoid doing that.
On the bottom line: Check that your marks are fair, and aren't affected by anything but the rated faction!

More importantly, whoever does this should avoid mainly because it won't work. A single vote hardly will make a difference, and all votes summed in the end will make only the 50% of the final score (the other part being the mods evaluation). Plus, if all your reviews are unnecessarily negative, this will udermine your creditability and most likely make ALL your scores worth a total zero.
So guys, not being fair is also not being smart.
@Kookastar: the fact that I can't make more than 20 posts in 24 hours is severely slowing me down. Is there a way to circumvent this?

nah there's no special way to get rid of the post limit, I suggest you judge them when you feel like it {save as a text file somewhere}, then post them when you can. If it gets to the last stage and you can't post them, you can send them straight to me and I'll enter them
sorry
It's so much fun to see all this action!

Genie, it is The Hexed, not Haxed (they are not cyber vigilantes or something ). Also there is the opposit effect. Just because somebody says something nice about your faction or gives you a high score, that should not influence your own score of their faction. Rate it on the faction, not the person.

I'm mostly done for today. Returning later, perhaps, but more probably no.
15 factions to go.... this work is literarily killing me slowly.

I'm in a quiet risky situation - that's why I want to ask you for your advise. My "problem" is that my ratings are on average much lower than those of the other judges. In fact, in the moment there's an effective range from 35-45 points and everything lower or higher than these range is eyed suspiciously. But this means that there's just a 10 points scala where should be a 50 points scala.
Now my question: shall I publish my ratings or was doing so misplaced?

Every judge has his/her own ways of marking. You cannot be disqualified if your marking are fair, but you mark differently from the others. If your marks are unusual, just explain every mark well, and that would clerify things.

While I'm keeping working hard to get the last factions done, I think there are some who deserve a special mention for being on a completely different level than the others: The Portal, The Druidic Order, The Netherworld, The Den and The Clockwork.
All of these are on a much more quality level than I ever expected. Good job baklava, GenieLord, golemcrafter, Daystar and Tobius.
