Show me an object that can move by itself without using up energy. I'm not talking about momentum or inertia, I'm talking about the 'push' force needed. Can an object start moving by itself without using any energy?
Yeah, possible in theory

Yes, if it is moved by God
But now seriously, I do think that wormholes will be created sometime in the future, whether they do what we expect to do is another thing

You know, I have this distinct feeling that we're going to massacre/convert/conolise/combine the previous suggestions the first inhabitable planet we find...
Think of what we did to Africa in the years of it's discovery.

In theory, it's also possible to have an ideal object that moves without using up energy, etc...
And really the problem is that the Black Hole might not even teleport us, it's unknown what happens -- the wormhole is just one possible theory.
Maybe the Black Hole, again, might teleport us to Hell, like in Event Horizon (you should watch that if you want to see that). It's an open question.
Please don't mix these things, Wormholes and Black Holes are complitely different things. Black Holes have been observed, Wormholes are just a theoretical aspect of our Universe - meaning the laws of physics that we know allow the possibility of the existence of Wormholes. I reapeat, they are not Black Holes.
Event Horizon is a great movie

[off-topic] Event Horizon is a great movie
The first "horror" movie I ever saw. It completely desensitised me.[/off-topic]

There are some theories floating around with two Black Holes, one on one side, the other on the other side, forming a Wormhole -- that's where I got this idea with the Wormhole = 2 Black holes back-to-back.
But even such theories say that the formation will collapse immediately

Sad but true.

That depends on does that habitable planet have indigenous life and how developed is it.Say we face aliens with same nuclear tech we have (unlikely, but just with same possibilities as lasers and ray guns). Now I have doubts that we would go to there and say "Hey we want to take your planet over, go find yourself a new one".

You see that exactly the problem: we humans are only stopped by force

Yes, first we would be curious/cautious and send some fruitbaskets. Then, we would find their weak spot and enslave them. the human race has A LOT of tactics in enslaving and defeating an opponent. The concept of lying may be not understtod by the other race. Or they may have the indian philosophy (all of this is our property) and we could steal from them. Only overwhelming force would stop us and, even then, we still would con them. I would give the human strategies in this, but I am afraid that would be off-topic.

Yeah, I just hope they are thousands of years ahead of us in tech when we find somebody, Id like to see what would the remaining humanity do when the places have changed.

I wouldn't call that one a twin to Earth. It's gravity is too high to enable human colonization - it's just too big (5x Earth's mass).
But it still may be home to biological life if it is in habitable zone.

You people do know that time doesn't move with the same speed everywhere in this universe?
And that timetravel is impossible?
Just checking.

Right, it depends on the movement of the galaxy
Quote: And that timetravel is impossible?
By these normal physics, yes, but if we're talking alternative Universes, then no

Uh, time and space are continuous so I don't think it would be possible to travel in space without time as well -- it's a reason it's called the space-time continuum
