Her name is Brandi.
She told me today that she loves me. I was surprised and didn't know how to respond because I've only known her for about a month now.
So I responded with thank you. I'm pretty sure that's not what she wanted to hear but as I think I've said before, I don't take the word love very lightly. It's not just a word to me.
Oh and William, I'm sorry I didn't see your post before. I know it hurts and probably will for a bit but try to keep your chin up or other similar encouraging words. You all know full well that I've been there so I'm not lying when I say I feel ya bro.

Currently, in a stable relationship for at least 6 months (relationship been going on quite a bit longer, but that part was very unhealthy and unstable) and I am happy.
Hope everything goes well with William and MM.

MM, I think that was the right thing to do. Another possibility would have been to say, "I really like you too" (but only if you actually do). It also may be that she doesn't use the word "love" the same way you do (though from the limited information here, I don't know). There are people who throw around "I love you" how others throw a frisbee.
DG, congratulations on your healthy relationship.

It also depends on the outlook of a person. Some mean the word "love" very seriously, and still uses it easily.

NVM it's yes, otherwise she wouldn't have taken interest in the first place unless she has interest... But women are illogical beings, she might've just wanted my help to get past the security check-point.

I do that a lot, but I don't know whether I'm giving people the wrong signal. Personally I much prefer to share myself in groups rather than one to ones, I somehow feel less anxiety despite the fact that I have the fixed attention of more than one person on me.

Oh come on, mvass, you don't have to make a big deal of it but it's nice to show her you care with a small gesture, a thoughtful gift, a handmade card. Sometimes it's ok to have a human side.

I show her I care on a fairly regular basis. A week or so ago, I bought her the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim. I do other things for her too. But I don't need a special day to do something special for her.
(And I don't know why people have this impression that I'm not "human", whatever that means.)
