Well ofcourse... I didn't think all this up by myself
I'm just really hoping for Vergil to return you know... so I tried to dig up every last piece of hint and stuff just to feel good
I can finally play some new games now that I own a 360... but I don't know what to buy first... Blazblue or DMC4...
Will probably be Blazblue if it is ever released in Europe
I long for a bit of 2D fighting mayhem. Ark System Works ftw, they know their stuff.

On to my real post. About two weeks ago where I work, some execs from Capcom took a tour of our facilities. They were taking a look at the Resident Evil V Special Edition we were finishing up and The Devil May Cry 3-pack we were running.
Apparently they were very impressed by our work. They have decided to make Technicolor their main distributer. They also mentioned a new Devil May Cry game most likely slated for late 2010.
Sounds cool.

That's great news, too bad about your job though...
Anyway, I bought DMC4 about a week ago, and it's easily the best in the series imo.
I was a bit surprised of how hard the game became when I began playing with Dante. (Coolest character EVVVAAAR)
With Nero anyone can kick unholy amounts of ass by staying in the air for like 20 seconds just using the Devil Bringer to suck enemies' up into midair and the spam the special air attack that propells you higher... it's extremly fun but very cheap
However, with Dante, it's actually a challenge! Good thing he's like 10x more awarding than Nero once you learn him.
I'm only on mission 14 so far so I only have two Devil Arms and two Firearms... gonna be nice to see what other weapons the future hold. I'm expecting Yamato.

You can look forward to the next fire-arm! It's coool ;p
And you can exspect a hell lot of a challenge when you reach the "Dante must Die" mode... Insanely hard...

I've cleared the game once and moved on to the bloody palace and Son of Sparda mode, nice.
I'm gonna try this button layout for some Dante ownage tommorow:
Yamato JC ownage
EDIT: Anyone else just hate the goddamn Chimera infected creatures? You know, the ones with the parasites on their heads? I can never do anything cool to them without being slashed by their rotating tentacles of destruction...
The worst thing is when the Chimera-Assaults start spinning around and hunting you
Like "YES! I got you in midair with ma devil-bringer noob! Now I'll aerial rave your ass! NO! Goddamn tentactles, arrgh!!

I'm thinking of buying some DMC games now that I've almost finished god of war 1 and 2 (haven't beaten all the challenges)

Jump canceling is haaard...!
I can only do it with two fingers, not one like in the video where he uses a sweeping movement with his thumb.
But it was satisfying the times I got it right! I think I made like 30 Yamato slashes on a Frost
@Fauch: Hmm... I only finished God of War 2 once... it was extremly fun though
I love the scene where Kratos crushes that spear-guy's head with the door, so awesome

thésée.
the way he kills the boss are awesome.
I've just began god of war in god mode (the game seemed easier than god of war 2, I felt the colossus of rhodes would be too annoying in titan mode) and it's hard lol, I have trouble against basic skeletons who can kill me in 2 hits I stopped at the medusa, she already killed me 2 or 3 times.
actually, maybe I should think about parrying. I discovered I could parry the attack of the hydra. I finished god of war 1 and 2 without parying everything, except gorgons gaze, I felt that dodging was enough.

I just remembered why I didn't play God of War 2 again lol
I had trouble in the part after Zeuz kills you and you try to crawl up from hell, the damn hands got me every time, I couldn't do anything!
But anyway, I'm derailing.
Here's some wishes from me for DMC5...
Vergil returns: However, I see a problem with this... Nero was just introduced and his arm is far too much fun to remove... so how do we get Vergil out of his body without rendering his arm powerless...?
Bah, maybe the long use of the Devil Bringer has caused his own demonic powers to resonate with his arm and it stays or something, or maybe he manages to keep a portion of Vergil's powers.
Grab moves for everyone! The way Nero throws things around shouldn't be exclusive to him! that is way I find Dante kinda boring in DMC4 in comparison to Nero: you have no tasty finishers! However, the snatch grab move should remain with Nero.
Less weapons, more moves and Style moves: Some of you may not agree with this, but with Dante I nearly only use Rebellion since it feels right to use his trademark weapon (Also, it kicks the most ass). Same thing if Vergil returns, who will not want to use his Katana all the time? It's part of what makes them cool. Firearms are ok though, we can have many of them
GIMME BACK MY WALLRUNS!: Seriously! Bring back some fun into Trickster style, give wallruns insane Style bonus!! Also, let the styles change e g. Dante's normal moveset! For example, a simple rebellion combo like Y+Y+Y+Y (or X+X+X+X in PS3... bah you get it) could have a dropkick added into it while you're using Trickster. Trickster should be Low Damage + High Style! Let the Styles affect more than just special moves!
... Hmm... yeah I think that's it. Oh, and remove Chimeras. Take them away, I hate them with all my heart.

I always thought the hades part of GoW2 was easy. you realised you can use your blades when climbing, right?
I just replayed the demo of dmc4, and I realised for the 1st time that you can dodge lol. got pwned by berial, the bastard was almost dead but went berserk. seriously, since when can centaurs perform 180° jumps to strike you when you are behind them?

Hehe, since DMC 4 ;p Berial is quite hard to beat.. But with Nero's arm, and all the green orbs in level 2, it shouldn't be that difficult..

He's a pain in the ass in the Bloody Palace mode since there are no houses filled with green orbs, also, you can't be too careful because of the time limit.
What's the best strategy against him? Staying on the ground so you can dodge? Or staying in midair, hitting him in the face while you dodge with the Devil Bringer's snatch?

I wasn't under the impression he was that hard. but he is the only boss I fought in a dmc game. it's not like Ares at the end of god of war who kicked my ass countless times, or some metal gear solid 2 boss that are really hard too.
I didn't try the devil bringer, I thought he would be a little too heavy for me.

Heavy? Hell no
Nero flings that guy around like a mitten, when Berial goes red and looks tired, you can grab him and kick his ass completely. If you do it in DT mode, you'll crush him even harder.

Yeah! Nero's arm is a very big plus in the game! Throwing thoose big bosses arround like little dolls is just awesome...
The hardest boss in my opinion is Bael (The second boss) The rest was actually too easy, and that is maybe because i never really got any good combat style against him and his brother..

Yeah a great thing about dmc is that it requires skills in combat teqnuiges ;p I think the game is easier if you have played dmc 1, 2 and 3 first!!
But you can always find DMC challenging, cuz you'll never really get pro in the games! Unless you don't do anything else with your life than playing dmc

actually it's the 1st dmc. I found the demo of the 4th one much easier. seriously, at the beginning I was getting owned by puppets, whereas they couldn't even hit me on dmc4

The third game though... probably the best one yet.

Oh!?! My mistake ;p Well yeah, dmc 1 2 and 3 has harder enemies, but dmc 4 has harder bosses. I remember there where one boss in dmc 1 i found very hard to kill. Somekind of stormbird cirling arround a ship!! (Its many years since i played it)
