Played two games with Eugen. First one was Necro vs Academy, I didn't save the replay as I didn't consider it that interesting, it was just a massacre. Too much luck on Academy's part + a lot of Morale + Destructive spells and I didn't stand a chance.
Second one was much more interesting. I was Necro again while Eugen Sylvan. His defensive formation was so hard to bring down and the destructive spells were damaging my poor Undead units. And those Treants who entangled my Vampires were simply annoying. My Phoenix also died once, but eventually lots of Raise Dead, Arcane Armor and lack of Cold Death for the enemy saved me.

EDIT: lol I forgot to mention, it was so funny that I was trying to raise the Liches but they had no more shots left 
When I've seen his defensive formation my entire plan was ruined. I was hoping to try some Fire Traps but they would have been almost useless in this case. Fortunately I had Cloak of Sylanna and Boneward.

That game was absolulety evil, from your side Good play, though.. You use those spells, that I'm supposed to be immune to, against me! I was totally surprised. I did some mistakes, I see that now.
Btw, that last hit with the hero was because I accidently pressed "a", which turns the autocombat on! so you don't think I'm a complete idiot You do not want to do that mistake!

Played a couple of duels with karim and one with Arcax. Here.
First is dwarves vs academy, relatively short game. Runes, mass haste and mass deflect missile made the difference.
Second was academy vs haven, karim used a dark knight. Battlefield pretty much gave me the game but it's an interesting match. And one of my best firetrap usages ever.
With Arcax it was my sylvan vs his necro, I lost badly. First wave was good but after he used mass weakness and then puppeted my dragons I was condemned to a slow death. I had no cleansing or immunity and resistance can only help so much. Guess crystal dragons could have helped better but that would not have made much of a difference.

lol loved how those Champions charged through all those fire traps  You know what would have been really funny? If Haven cast Magic Immunity on them, Academy's plans and Firetraps would have been in vain
And in that Academy vs Fortress I think Academy had too many unlucky shots for -2 Luck IMO.

I knew he didn't have immunity, I mean who picks both light and dark? Reason I would not try dark vs academy is lack of protections and the fact that titans are immune to confusion, just like archmages can still fry you with fireball.. Maybe with Sandro's cloak.

Rubycus made a mistake by casting Vampirism on Banshees, didn't know that it doesn't work with their ability.
Also if you're wondering why I consumed the Spectres first it's because I can't stand incorporeality Also I think I made a mistake by consuming the banshees instead of the Dragons, but it didn't matter anyway at that point.
EDIT: And obviously Vampirism was to get rid of Decay, don't think I'm stupid

You're stupid
edit: Summoning Necro has a tough time against Inferno, unless maybe with Firetrap. I think it's better to just load everything into dark and then maximize enlightenment/sorcery or enlightenment/defense. But then again I prefer to just load all my eggs into one basket (school) and do that all the time.

I had a pretty good 'counter' arsenal at my disposal btw
Vampirism for Frenzy/Puppet Master (I also had Shrug Darkness to decrease the dark magic's effectiveness) and I had Frenzy myself in case of a Phoenix summon (I also had Ring of Banishment)

Vampirism is the big life saver for Inferno against dark. If I don't get that spell with Inferno, I get scared. You can make a frenzy work to your advantage with teleport assault, but that unfortunately doesn't help you at all with decay or puppetmaster.

That was a good game Unfortunately I didn't have blind. What I think I did wrong was that banshee vampirism, which was (almost) never used, and that I should have used MotN earlier. I was quite desperate in the end. MotN helped me only to some extent... Also I might would have wanted to use magic recistance to get rid of all the curces (slow, suffering and weakness)

Me and phoenix had some good games. I think they were quite funny. Maybe Phoenix didn't like them very much, since it ended 2-0 in my favour
The first one was a strong Sylvan (me) vs. his Fortress. The second one was my high-power-Necropolis vs. his low-power-Dungeon

I think the terrain obstacles helped Sylvan a lot in that one.
And I experienced a puppeted Phoenix once in the same Necro vs Dungeon matchup - I share your pain. I learned my lesson though, no more Phoenix summons when opponent is proficient in Dark Magic

an Emphaty build on my side, Summoning as main, got luck instead of Sorcery though.
But did it really matter in the end?
Academy rushing out with insane luck and one second later you get a double lucky meteor mopping the floor with you!
Where was my luck? My morale?
Hope I won't get that 'lucky' in the tournament, hehe
