Of course I play females too. In RPGs I play mostly females.
Other games it's males.

I don't usually sexualize video game characters. Thanks for posting in the topic though. It makes littles sense to discriminate on gender in video games except in cases where it is a story requirement.

No... now that you've mentioned it I don't think I actually "Sexualize" characters in video games... In fact I was rather speaking of characters in MMO's since I have no preference of character gender in normal games and in MMOs I always make female characters because it seems to... dunno just look/feel more esthetic or something - dunno... Or jsut a habbit...

I don't know why, but I can't help but play as females in graphics-intensive games...seems like I'm just creating my character, dum dee dum dum dum...then suddenly I black out for around 10-15 seconds, and when I come to, I'm playing as a female character, and then I black out again...and this time I've got drool on my chin when I come to...fortunately this doesn't happen very often, although I sometimes choose a female char of my own free will...

I use a female avatar on xbox live and on most forums. a few people asked if it was me, and I guess some of them would have been interested in dating me

I'll play as a male character and replay some as a female. In some games the plots change a lot just by playing as a female i.e. KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect...

Playing as female characters is always. Most games I play i'm a female character. Like if a start as a male character and i put some armor on him and he doesn't look good in it, I just made him a female character and it looks great
(talking about runescape by the way, I dont play much anymore but I love the events and I have lots of friends on there)

I play as female characters most of the time(if I can choose the gender). My first char on WoW was a human female paladin and before that i had female chars on EVE. I guess the reason why is because they look hot and I feel i't sexier playing females than males. But anyway i would say that 70% of my chars are females.

I always play through games as an opposite gender character so long as it is not damaging to stats(Oblivion). I just couldn't understand why I'd spend dozens and dozens of hours looking at a male ass when it could be a females.
