Depends on what we're talking about. Sometimes, "overcoming" the problem is synonymous with "ignoring" it. I mean sure you may be happy (blissful ignorance? ) but I do not believe in happiness through ignoring things. I call it fake happiness, almost lying to yourself.

(not always though, if someone dies and you can't resurrect them, for instance, but then being happy is still ignorance, although in that case, the alternative is not better at all -- impossibility).
