It was good the same way that Lollipop Chainsaw is 'good', both appear to be written by mentally degraded individuals, yet it is strangely 'amusing', though I believe that it's only because of the deranged and far-fetched basis.

Spiderman was actually good, I liked it. While an origin story it manages to keep the formula yet not repeat the same story all over, it was handled nicely. The protagonist does an excellent teenage immitation I have to give him that And Gwen Stacy is just lovely. I did not like the lizard as much as in the comics/cartoon but after some time I got used to it. I also did not like some first person scenes but they were too short to annoy me. All in all it left a nice taste.

The Dark Knight Rises is a really, really good movie but I'm not sure that I liked the intentions of the villian(s) and the ending. Without spoiling, it just felt incredibly unrealistic that hundreds of people who had just broken out of prison would be willing to all jus die a few months later. I'll probably give the movie 3.75 / 5. I did enjoy it and it was a great theatrical experiencee.

*Batman spoilers*
The movie was only good. It kind of tried too hard to be grand-scale imo. The whole fusion core thing annoyed me. Like, "Oh btw, we developed a *****ing fusion core to entirely transform civilization as we know it. It's chillin' out in a basement right now." I just feel like that sort of thing better fits in the Spiderman franchise. Batman is supposed to be, as I see it, more down-to-earth, whereas Spiderman or other comics are more sci fi / futuristic. Another quip I had was with Catwoman. I want her to be a psycho villain dammit. Please refer to Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman 2 on how to have a properly badass Catwoman. Finally, the movie felt like it had a lack of Batman in it. I know they were trying to focus on his recovery from long-term depression, but I didn't like it I would have preferred they took it down a different route. It doesn't have to be a non-stop action fest, but the focus on Bruce Wayne was too much for my liking. It was like an hour into the movie before Batman stopped being a crippled hermit.

I loved the car burglar but imo, Dark Knight Rises had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many plotholes that I just can't get out of my way. Putting those aside, I think its a pretty epic and great movie to watch in a cinema. But I can imagine it feeling way to long when watching it at home. Especially when you already know all the things that are gonna happen.

Some movies I watched recently...
Rise of The Planet of The Apes:
Well, at one point it shows how something good(that possible alzheimer cure) can be so screwed up because of corporate greed. Overall I did enjoyed it, since it wasn't another super hero movie when it comes to sci-fi. I liked the special effects a lot, and the story may not be groundbreaking, but for me it was enjoyable.
Diaries of a Sex Addict:
A Spanish film, a bartender at my favourite pub recomended it, and to say the truth I wasn't dissapointed. It's full of erotic scenes, and you smartasses should know that wasn't the main reason I liked the film. The sex scenes are aesthetic and nothing close to porn. The story is intiguing, and about life. I sure know a few women that shoud really watch this movie.
Pulp Fiction:
Now this was awesome. Those who saw it, know what I'm talking about, and those who didn't go and watch it right now. The main actors were nicely chosen, and the language... well, it's something we hear everyday. I was doubtfull at first, but since I liked the films that were inspired by it(Zero: Lilac Lithuania, and Zero 2) I thought I've gave it a try. It was a fun, entertaining saturday afternoon.
Don't Be a Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood:
A lengthy name... Well, it's nothing special, just a parody of "growing up in the hood" type of movies. Still, a fun thing to watch from time to time.
Thor:
Well, yet another superhero movie... classical plot. we have a big hero, he screws up, get's banished, is stripped of his power... We all seen it more or less. Than he learns what real values are, saves the day and beats the bad guy. Nothing special IMO.
The Avengers:
I really did not understood what was so great about this movie. The actors were great, and so were the special effects, but it overall was cheezy. I wish they would stop pooping up those superhero movies, and make something really worth watching to fill the Sci-Fi niche(Haven't watched the Prometheus, don't jump on me all at once)
Batman Begins:
As I've yet to see the latest Batman film, which I suspect I'll see in the upcoming weekend, I decided to wathc the first part of the trilogy (I've seen the Dark Knight and I liked it a lot)This being a third superhero film I saw within two weeks, and in my opinion it wasn't as cheezy as the last two I saw. I had something in it... Maybe Liam Neeson, I don't know. The special effects were nice, and I liked the fight choereography a lot. The begining was a little bit "dafaq" moments, esspecially finding that Bruce Wayne was in a chinese prison, but the movie was well made and worth seeing.

well, prometheus wasn't bad but a bit disappointing. they recycled many ideas from Alien movies (well, I think it is supposed to be a prequel to Alien) but it didn't feel as immersive.
the characters were kind of weird.
SPOILERS I didn't really get what the cyborg was trying to do, the alien immediately went into mass-murderer mode for some obscure reason, and who is dumb enough to try to play with an unknown alien life form, I mean, especially when they were hired for such a mission?

Batman Rises up from the ashes - A great movie, Bane's plan was insane and left the Joker look like a child..
The move too me was really depressive like watching HP7 part 1 - people just dying, feeling all blue, pointless and then the ending comes and everything is great.
If I could give an award, I would give it to Michael Caine for Alfred - He did so well, and he had me believing him all through the movie - whereas Christian Bale fails me a little. Bane was great, had to get used to the voice, but he was badass.
But in the end, the movie left me baffled over the stupid plot twist. I will not spoil, but it is wrong!
All in all this is an awesome movie, but the dark knight was better in my eyes.
