Basic multiplayer support (big feature) is added in latest VCMI daily build. Secondary skills modding (adding new / editing existing) is possible as well.

I have some VCMI related news that nonetheless might be interested to some other H3 fans who want to toy with H3 AI for fun & profit to research what AI can or can't do.

wait, did you pull these maps from an archive somewhere? i was under the impression that you were releasing 1,400 maps all on your lonesome. which is why i'm so confused, i guess.

Link is given few posts ahead (github). But these maps are designed not for regular play, only for testing AI behaviour.

i have only one map that i use for testing, that i alter accordingly after each test. 1,400 maps seems... a bit much. then again, i'm only testing what i mod, so maybe my thoughts are moot in this case. i haven't tested maps for ai studies, yet. i'll get around to doing that for my campaign, though.

They all made manually and tested with "gosolo" in H3, but it's not usual maps. Each map check only single game mechanic or single property of map object. Maps depend on properly working victory-loss conditions of course. It's still took me something between 1 or 2 hundred hours of work to make them, but obviously not so long as you might imagine.
End goal of making them is to have both conformance and regression testing for VCMI, but with little knowledge of scripting and something like AutoHotKey + some screenshot utility + Python you can easily automate H3 testing on Windows too. I have scripts for automated H3 testing somewhere, but they are Linux-only and depend on X server presence.

I am the author of thin conversion from ERA mod. Just I've prepared test version to learn how such things works. Now objects in map editor looks like pale blue dots. But I hope I will fix it

Hey guys, has anyone managed to change the size of a creature up to 3hex? I mean, not making it bigger, which I have already achieved, but "telling the game" that the creature occupies 3 cells. After a lifetime playing the game and lurking around this forum, I've taken up modding from scratch, so maybe I'm asking for impossible stuff or things that have been explained in Modding 101.
