Obama gets Nobels' Peace Prize!
At the moment i am ashamed of being Norwegian. Somebody who has done nothing, has gotten a highly acknowledged price that is suppose to be given to people who actually has done something.
Barack Obama has gotten the price, the world hail corruption!

The prestige and function of the Nobel Peace Prize has fallen into the slumps anyway, so this is just one more nail for the coffin. Although I suppose giving it to a hawk-lobbyist puppet is notably even goofier.

Attitudes against Russia and Iran are the key consepts. Did u know that according to polls (at least in Europe) the GREATEST threat to to the world security was considered US foreign policy? Now that the missile shield project in Poland/Czeck republic was ended and US agreed to talks with Iran the world at least seems like a safer place. It is not uncommon for US presidents to win the prize, after they end a terrible era in world politics. This is at the same time playing politics too. It is obvious that bullypolitics by Bush and Darth Vader is hoped to never come back.

I don't agree with this, although other presidents have won before they had actually worked for years on things such as foreign policy etc. While he wants to achieve those things, this prestigious award should be reserved for those who have already done and not just planing on doing.
Fishy..And the collective gasps of the receiving audience says it all.

Do we have a source for all this anywhere? No offense Diablo but I'd like to see something like that confirmed from a news site or something. It'd be pretty hard to believe he'd get it. I mean I'm an Obama fan but he hasn't really done anything just yet .

Somebody should read history. Nobel got stinking rich because of mainly dynamite, but he wanted to be remembered for more than inventing something that blow up lots of stuff. So the Swede left in his will that he wanted some charity to people who had achieved really great stuff. Literature, Peace, Science, and I think there was 1, 2 more.
