I don't remember that you have a right to USE someone else's property if that person doesn't want you to and wants to kick you out.

a far right republican who will protect the american peoples freedoms and damn all other nations to hell?

well i've got news for you. you might not like him, but every other nation actually likes obama! not just because he's the first black president, because he promises more than just "Gun rights and god" to the world.

I know what they say about vipers, that they tell lies to make themselves more lovely, but you know what? I would rather believe the lies of a socialist than listen to men whose soul, and I mean soul, motivation in life is to line their own pockets with money, no matter how dirty or bloody it is!

Certainly not me. I believe in keeping contracts. A lease agreement is an agreement between a landlord and a tenent for the tenent to lease the apartment for a ceertain period of time and is a legally binding contract.

So yes, if I were to sign a one year lease agreement, I have a RIGHT to live in the apartment for a one-year time period under the conditions specified in the contract.

Palin would make a good president and is likely to be the next president if she runs. Fox and Beck are in the money of the republican press who would do anything to smear obama. they must be getting pretty desperate if they call up his teachers as possible socialists.

My geography teacher was an ex-mercenary, my chemistry teacher regularly taught us how to make bombs, our history teacher thought the communists did a better job at defeating hitler than the allies, and that was all in GCSE. in A-Level, my drama teacher regularly smoked pot, my sociologist was a member of the british communist party, my history teacher was a convicted shoplifter... if I become president, am I going to be pulled up on that by fox, if I run as a republican candidate?

as for palin making a good president... do me a favor and shoot the woman! she didn't know africa was a continent, her entire bases for campaign was "citchy local charm" and probably wouldn't have become a senator unless she wasn't running against the local horse! oh wait, she's a republican and thus beyond fault for you, eh, EH!

What possible reason could you have for supporting her running the country.  


Her record speaks volumes;the small town she left behind is now in financial ruin.

Oh Oh Oh, it's 5:00pm and I was just reminded of something. This thread is already all over the place so can I bring up a slight change in subject that's actually related? OK, I will.

The reason 5:00pm is important is because I live near a large military base. In a straight line it's maybe 3 miles or so from here. This isn't about the flag, it's about the national anthem that they play every day, and I can hear it this far away. From this distance it's not loud enough to really bother me, but I couldn't even imagine living next to the base and listening to that loud crap every day. If it were an individual or business, they would be violating noise ordinances and stopped.

People get concerned about who might take offense at a piece of cloth with certain color combinations. But what about neighbors, on their own property who have no choice but to hear this loud crap on a daily basis?

Agreed. Sadly the laws do not protect everybody at eateries. There are places where anybody remotely Latino-looking will be asked for their papers or they'll get kicked out. Other places (even in New York City!) that use a "Dress Code" to kick out well dressed black people and keep their normal slobby clientele. Such practices should also be banned.

Obama has 11 years of combined political experience as a Senator. 7 in Illinois, 4 in the main Senate. Palin had 2 years as governor and 6 as a small town mayor. They're both relatively unqualified but the experience speaks for itself. Obama is slightly more qualified if by an inkling, but he really still isn't Presidential material. She has connections to as many corrupt people as Obama does anyway.

Yes I understand that, but I'm talking about if it's specified in the contract that certain people aren't allowed. What you said about the hamburger further outlines it.

If someone doesn't want to sell something to someone (like blacks, as in the example), who are you (or the "evil government") to force him to sell it?

Nah, FOX is more fair than the other networks, which all worship Obama. And Beck gets on Republicans and Democrats. He is an independent conservative.

And certainly he is continuing to expose the self-avowed communists in the Obama administration. No suprise since Obama said he sought out Marxist professors and has blocked all access to his college records and thesis. Obama believes in redistribution of wealth from his own words on tape and camera.

There is nothing "possible" about the people Beck has identified as socialists or communists because he has them on video tape.

No, it is proof that they believe in MORE THAN JUST property rights. If you enter into an agreement to lease a property to me you have to abide by the terms of the agreement. The property owner does not have the right to alter the terms of agreement while the lease is in effect.

I can't lease an apartment to you for $500 dollars and then in the middle of the lease change the payment required to $1000 even though I am the property owner. You have rights too.

She was governor of the largest state in the US. Obama was a senator of Illinois, the most corrupt government in the US. And he was a US senator for less than 100 days before he started running for senate.

She did not say the founding father wrote the Pledge of Allegence. She said that if "under God" was good enough for the founding fathers it is good enough for her. The founding fathers certainly expressed that sentiment.

And in fact, the pilgrims had the words "in God we trust" embroidered in the sails that brought them to America. But I would not expect a liberal to know that.

And certianly in the Declaration of Independence the founders mentioned God a number of times. But liberals doin't know that either.

What's so offensive about a flag anyway?

Flags don't kill people. One can have a problem with a nation's government, administration, recent activity or similar; but if he has a problem with its very flag just because it represents that nation, that means he has a problem with everything related to that country, its people etc; he is, thus, overly generalizing, and the landlord isn't doing anything good if he defends that extreme view.

Disclaimer: this, of course, goes only as long as the administration that man dislikes didn't invent the flag. For example, Hitler invented the red banner with a black swastika in a white circle; if I dislike him, I'll of course dislike that flag too. But I wouldn't have any problem with a flag invented by someone other than Nazis, which changed countless "owners" both good and bad.

The US flag has been used by better and worse administrations over time and there's no reason for me (or, IMO, anyone else) to feel any hate or dislike toward it. Toward certain cabinets, yes. But toward a 200 year old set of stars and stripes? That just doesn't make sense.

Hmm, wonder how much Fox is paying attention to the Haliburton BS that is going on, and Beck.  My bet is as little as possible unless they are making excuses.  They wanted to string up Obama for Acorn, but I bet they will keep a low profile on this travisty.
Like I said I am not an Obama fan right now, but it is funny how things work in some peoples mind.  Both sides are hypocrits and just after the moola.

I hate american politican (you might disagree, and your right, obama is one of the less disreputable specimens to crawl it's way into the public attention) each and every one of them bend over for big business so that they don't appear socialist...

my question... what's wrong with socialism? it's become the bogeyman of american politics? Britain has socialist policies and I think it's working out alright... unless you want to have beef with that too, elodin, because let me tell you, at least when the NHS paramedics pick you up, they don't feel your wallet before checking your pulse.
