Shelva suppressed a grin when she saw terrence strike at the monster. She then crooked her hand in a claw-like shape and sent it at the nearest tentacle.
Shelva to Shelva: gotta protect the leader.

She then shuddered and sent a wave of inner energy at the tentacle near Terrence.

(DM to all): Gazebo monster flees!
Realizing it has only one of it's tentacles left, the Gazebo monster decides to flee. Four leg-like tentacles appear below it as the creature rises form the ground, it screams loud like a dinosaur in pain.
After that it jumps and hovers in direction of the starts leaving with all the loot it had. You only wonder what manner of creature was that.
All of you still get 40 XP each out of a total of 200XP, half the total, since the monster fled. Is it the last time you see it? Only time will tell.
Further exploration at your discretion.

After the monster ran off Brandis decided it would be a good time to bond with his sword then rest with the rest of the party apparently.

Shelva to all: Okay, guys, we got pretty banged up... I think... whatever that was... Would have killed or destroyed anything else nearby that could threaten us... Assuming this, I will go sleep... I'm tired.
She felt her energy drain as the demonic power that infused her become inactive. She practically fell on the ground, sleeping.

(DM to all):
All 5 of you woke up fully healed after a Extended Rest.
Once again you guys rest with no regard for the world around you. You just faced a potencially deadly opponent for the first time and just fell on your tents to sleep without organizaing patrols and lighting torches.
It is just late that you guys realize you've been robbed the morning you wake up!
You find out that your incredible ammount of arrows was almost totally gone. A Goblin Thief totally concealed by the night and the fact that no one mounted guard entered your camp and grabbed what he could from your ammo cart: 500 arrows from Kyiamiara. He could not carry 600, otherwhise he would have taken all.

(DM to all): It's soooo good to be the DM xD.
So now you can resume your exploration of the area, I'm posting the text again:
Who knows what could be there on those caves and ruins for you? Your first concern is where would be your safe haven, the place you could go to rest in this area, exploring near the stone circle might be a good idea to that end, you don’t see anything out of the ordinary there. As to exploring you see from a distance that you can enter 2 different caves. You hear a faint sound of loud voices in the wind coming from the first cave. The lower cave has smoke coming out of it. You also notice a Obelisk that is prominent on the landscape on the nearby forest as part of some ruins. Where do you want to go first?

Don't forget you also talked to Arlabaster and agreed to take the quest to find the missing members of his expedition. You last saw him near the road.

Balasar to Shelva: "The old man told us that they were out to see if there were any possibilities for mining in the area. It would make sense that they are in the caves. If we are to go see the ruins we might miss our chances of saving survivors. This long rest might have been somewhat of a mistake on that account too."
Balasar to party: "Let us pick ourselves up and move out. We'll go for the howling cave."

Stretching his back Terence got up and upon the news of the goblin thief Terence exclaimed loudly.
Terence commentary: Thank goodness for that, if someone didnt steal them i feared that someone would torture us with them by pocking each one into our bodies!
Terence to group: Il help you pack up and il start carrying the cart.
After extended packing Terence started to walk toward the giant obelisk in the distance.
