Confirm.
Probably the worst pair - orcs vs nekro wasn't easy this time too. My attack wasn't strong enought. With Zenit's luck my stucks have been destroyed.
The second one was more interesting. No cleansing and magic immune from my side. I frorgot about rightous might what was pretty stupid

How is it possibly for academy to have so many lucky attacks with 20%? And orcs not having exp shatter dark? I am disappoint Primus  ...
Yah I couldn't believe it as aca hero had same defence stat as mine & had exp def with vitality while I didn't bother with defence skill...I suppose I should have expert shat when I don't have defence or even do word of chief to put cyclops before enemy hero but very strangely coincidentally I had the -2 morale/luck & +1 morale/luck artis & also couldn't get magic res...also learned a bit about bloodfire from Bania matches ...& that Arcax game 2 was bizarre (timing was off & didn't know AA cannot be cleansed either)
Edit: 2nd game Mohikanin v Zenithale: isn't desert academy's native terrain?

Right, strange since, if I remember correctly, we were on a dwarven ground...
Btw the first one was the orcish terrain too (good for Mohikanin).
No problem if we need to restart the games.

1st battle:
Necropolis : Dungeon 0:1
Elvin showed me today how to play Dungeon properly. I used his tactic and won my first game by Dungeon on this map 
2nd battle:
Inferno:Sylvan 1:0
I was preety happy about this mathup but after checking spells I was preety sure that I will loose...no cleansing, no magical rsistance, even no righteus might... I tried to do do something but with cursed units and blessed demons it was impossible.

Skprimus ve Zenithale : 0 - 2
First battle : Haven vs Inferno. His first charge was a slaughter. I tried to gain time with my mass spells and the gating. I finally win aid of the Seal of Darkness perk.
Second fight : Sylvan vs Inferno for me, again. And again the first charge was a slaughter (all my Archdevils and succubus dead...). I almost quited the game after this disastrous first turn. But I don't like give up! Skprimus decided to cast Vampirism on his stacks to counter the mass confusion, which lose their good moral (5) and Retribution (25%). My low tiers managed to survive aid of the gating stacks, the MotD and the mass dark and white spells. During this time my weak balista killed all the Druids. Really an Epic fight for me. I won with my Imps and Cerberus alive!

yikes I almost got the builds I needed in both games against Zenithale but just not quite
So near & yet so far but Zenithale is the better tactician & so deserved to win no matter if a matchup favoured me or not
[dunno why I thought of putting druids & arcanes in opposite corners in 2nd game...must be the time of night I'm playing...ofc I got the horror light spell combo that I described earlier in this thread & none in spell stones...forgot about the retrib effects from vamp but well played Zenithale]

I was so close to win 1 game, but 1 dragon was left on the battlefield
Any idea how to contact with Rubycus? I have only 1 game left and I want to finish it as soon as possible.

yup I was gonna meet with Rubycus tonight too...
I won both games vs tann_141, [sorry tann, the only way for me to win was to be lucky else I would lose just like against Zenithale & I hate it when it seems like I'm winning & then lose due to not so good tactical prowess]
...gad I love that horseshoe but will post replays later

yea the first game i got beat out by luck.. morale and luck constantly triggering .. puppet being resisted didn't help either.. in any case i made poor decisions.. second game went better but not really a match up i like XD i was amazed at the amount of mana  .. oh and bania im actually 4/9 not 3/8 i beat rubycus in our first game.. posted that a while back.. still seems like i need to start playing better in this tournament XD

I confirm result with metatron.
1. My haven gave elves no chance. 0 attack + no attack skill versus 28 defense was just too much. Good dark spells combined with empathy and retribution worked beautifully. I expected destro but even with it i think this battle was lost for sylvan before it started.
Replay
2. Well. I screwed that one for sure. Went for shout+empathy to frequently scare knights most powerful stacks. I know it works nicely when the morale triggers often. But it failed in the first and most important phase. Later it was just a festival of my mistakes. Mass haste and slow did the trick. Should have went for swift mind + battlecry and pure offensive build as i planed in the beginning

Two more one-sided matches. I'm pretty disappointed that I haven't had any intense games yet.
I had lots of raw stats with Maeve in the 2nd game, but not where they needed to be. Too much in SP and knowledge and not enough in attack and defense. Light Inferno isn't exactly a push over either way.

Finished my games with Zen and it went 1-1
Arcax - Zenithale
Haven - Dungeon
1-0
Swift mind and Mass Haste at the very beginning did the trick. Zenithale was able to cast only puppet master which made me freak out and the beginning but empathy saved me.
Stronghold - Inferno
1-1
A slaughter. I dont know what the heck I done. I went shatter light refined mana and enlightmentintelligence. Thought that Zen would try to suprise me with light or sth but good ol' darky dark showed its ugly face.
