I did some major mistakes too, like shooting the ones I dived with griffin. He died from shot and the griffins attack then became useless, lol.

Well the crossbows were rather vulnerable, maybe if you kept paladins near or split them to counter curses.. Man that grunt attack hurt.

Dark/Summoning/light dungeon huh? Now that's a curious approach.

Lol good one. Grims and reds charge first, mass decay, vampiric phoenic  
In second the small battlemage stack would be better off as an archmage for casting. And of course luck reduction is cool but you don't let grims charge titans And.. elemental gargoyles vs dungeon? That's a bit suicidal. On Rubycus' side it was a mistake not to start with aoe, best to always assume opponent has magic mirror. In the end it was anyone's game, mirror could go either way. Puppet + crystal was a good one.

Swift mind and Mass Haste at the very beginning did the trick. Zenithale was able to cast only puppet master which made me freak out and the beginning but empathy saved me.
I confirm, empathy was really disgusting: your hero was able to cast Magic immunity just before the Puppeted Paladins turn!

Shatter light was a nice idea: I could not cast Mass Endurance anymore and my hero has only 1 in Defense  . He has Dark and Invocation as well, with raise dead, blade barrier, arcane armor, land mines...

lol I didn' have any decent aoe spells except from Circle of Winter and Chain Lightning, unless u meant mass haste ofc. And with lack of "intelligence", resistance trinkets my spells hardly did any damage at all. like empowered implosion for 1K damage for 36mana? like no way lol. and yes in the end it was all about mana

Elvin : Pei 1:1
So, finished my duels with Elvin.
First match i had dwarfs and Elvin´s infernal troops left bruises all over my hero. I did a lot of bad bad things, so when elvin posts the replay ppl will have a guide of things not to do
Second battle was more interesting,i had dwarfs again and he was an elf lover. Elvin guided me on my build and surprisingly i stole all his famous luck. No luck for bad elvin  .
Still i have a long way to redeem myself from my bad performance on previous battles.
Here is the replay for the 2nd Battle, Lady´s Luck wasnt with elvin today.

I've been away for quite some time, my apologies to the people in my group. I'll be available every evening now for the next two weeks. Metatron vs Azagal 1-1
1. Inferno vs Sylwan
I went untypically, into magics of summoning. At the beginning I made a mistake using cloning spell instead of mass hast. It later was already only worse.
2. Fortress vs Sylwan
I regret, that i not save this replay, that was beateful game.
Elves defended themselves in the corner with archers, flagpoles, unicorns and druids. Powerful defence of the opponent (28) and the triple shot with impregnated frenzy could discourage. Fortunately he doesn't have it as the good fire. The triple wall of the fire metabolised archers, druids and unicorns. Frenzy I replied wampiryzmem. Majority many, elves surrounded and driven into the horn slowly died. Azaga tried to save itself balistą and with impregnated arrow. After smashing up balisty there were already no chances. The game was surrendered.

Just finished my games with Metatron, they were nice games with a nice opponent but not spectacular.
The first was my Sylvan vs his Inferno and I had a super light repertoire (haste,RM,cleansing and endurance via PoE) against his Summoning Inferno. I saw that my shooters had reduced iniative so his Summoning didn't come as too much of a surprise. The game isn't spectacular because I make a few unneccesary mistakes (feeding him my dragons, casting haste instead of endurance and stuff like that) and because I was pretty lucky at times. Case in point being my 54 Winddancers going nuclear overload on his 214 leapers .
The other game was funny in a sense that it we were trying to outbid each other. I was Sylvan he was Fortress and I wanted to go Imbued Destro Warmachines. I misclicked once and didn't pick Destro and the skill was so offended by me not picking it that it decided to NEVER pop up again:'( (eventhough I had two entire slots free for it!). While mentoring and trying to get it back again Dark poped up and I was like aaaaaaw what the hell!
So the battle starts and he casts Frenzy on my Winddancers and I'm like "Ohh not bad dark Dwarf... he must be feeling pretty good about himself... well MWUAHAHAHAHA *imbue frenzy* -> rain of arrows HOW DOES THAT FEEL PUNK?!?!"
His very cool comment: "Oh... not bad". I'm like "wtf not bad?! I screwed you over!! Where is the despair?!"
...he casts Vampirism. And suddenly all I am left with is half dead army with a tripple imbued vulnerability ballista (which is pretty cool btw) facing down 4 vampirismized fortress units at 80% strength together with 2 others that exorcism their way out of any debuff . I conceeded.

Finished my games with Rubycus with me winning both:
Gm1 Rubycus brand l SKPRIMUS razzak
this was played 4 days ago...unfortunately knowledge of runes was limited on opponent's side
Gm2 Rubycus laszlo(red) l SKPRIMUS king tolghar
it's a right pain when champion double-skewer has to be lined up with magmas who deal 40% dmg back plus lucky retaliation...his 2 luck didn't do much here at all compared to another instance
Thanks for games Rubycus, a good fellow who was also kind enough to play a couple of non-official duels too...hope you get better at these.
Edit: well done to Arcax & pei on being able to win a game against the elite Zenithale & Elvin

Hell yeah!
Rubycus' haven was doomed from the start for priest training and taking no defense. Incorporeal rule helped a bit.
Academy took it through mass spell manipulation That and good kshatra action, dwarves almost seemed to enjoy the retaliations..
Yesterday I also had my games with Larry, my dungeon vs haven followed by haven after dungeon I managed to win both with a little luck.
Replays
First one I went for warlock's luck and things just went my way. Furies could block champions in a way archangels could not clear them out without also blocking the way, mistresses blocked archangels, first spell was a lucky meteor hitting angels, brutes and crossbows. I also had cursed ring and Larry didn't make full use of training, in the end I had a d/c but Larry not thinking much of his chances conceded. As an extra insight in the game Larry had dived on hydras and I was about to wait my blackies and matriachs.
Second one I didn't get retribution for the first time in ages but I had maxed luck so no complaints. Tactics and haste from the wand were invaluable, my griffin drive was humiliatingly noobish and Larry's empathy.. betrayed him to say the least. Can you imagine 1 morale out of 9 actions with maxed morale?

The count was quite biased from one side to the other...game seemed to punish Larry for not having defence/warluck...I would really like to know how morale/luck are coded in the game; very likely the same distorted method as other things in the game that are supposed to be random but are not

Of course you're right with Light being a popular choice with Dwarves and considering the ever so annoying rune of Excorcism, but come on almost all other approaches are just as futile or annoying.
You go might with light magic they have rune of thunderclap, magic controle, ressurection AND their high defense that basically turns them into walking boulders.
You go destro there is an army that already is to almost 50% immune to fire or it's perks effects and rune of elemental immunity to really screw you over.
And hoping to get summoning with a ranger is a rather futile endavour.
In the particular set up light would have been the supreme choice of course (if I had cleansing I'm pretty sure that I could have taken him) but it would have been a loooooong and tidious matchup. This way it was more funky. As a matter of fact it was really funky. And that imbued vulnerability Ballista sure was fun.

Ola I just had my game with Kispagat. I was stuck with the Elves again (4 out of 4 games oO (one being a mirror so we recreated)). And again I wanted to go imbue Destro (good choice since he went shatter light) with empathy instead of imbued ballista this time. Leveling went groovy and then I got Dark offered at level 18 (the huts both had destro for me). I was like "hmmm... didn't check the dark spells. Naah won't hurt to take it just in case" and when I saw that I was blessed with PM, Frenzy, weakness from the shrine and suffering from the guilde I decided it was time to bid Destro farewell once more. Apparently I was so busy charming fortuna that she neglected Kis. He didn't know that the hero specials were disabled so he bought Garuna and he had no fear my roar or Hordes Anger so I was off to a somewhat better start. What made the equilibrium break later rather than sooner was that he had advanced shatter dark in store for me. Again not a fantastic battle but an ok replay (> 90 Defense Ancient Treants being a cool gimmick^^. Stand your Ground really isn't all that bad .)
