I had to give a time out of playing Final Fantasy XV and Resident Evil 7 at the same time. Both games have characters with the same strong accent which I find dreadful to hear constantly. That was a first. Oo
Meanwhile, tried a bit of Bridge Constructor Portal, which is entertaining as far as puzzle game goes, adding GLaDOS lines to it for a flavor.
Adding Tusk and Ember and Arc Warden to my list of Dota 2 heroes for practice. Arc Warden requires me to add some key bindings to my brain.

I was duped into playing Fortnite, I know, chav game and all, poor mechanically and with the worst community ever, where you get gangbanged by a bunch of 10 year olds with their "pro" settings and their reflexes.
But my best buddy is fixated on it, so we play it together, and I now understand the charm of the game. Having an SMG, a Gatling and a Grenade launcher then using them to make a barrage of shots is incredibly satisfying, I had my best friend rage it me because I didn't give him tine to defend himself, said buddy shot me while I was getting my weapons, that was karmic justice.
Otherwise it's the worst game ever, because you're gonna get killed by just walking down a hill, because people apparently are this good with sniper rifles.
I'm ashamed of myself for playing such a casual game.
Anyway, what I'm actually doing right now is fooling around with RPG maker MV, making an idiotic story about a Drunken fool that finds the "Invincible Sword", unfortunately showing it would be nearly useless since I'm making it in Italian, and I'd have to put in an extra effort to translate it, maybe once I finish it. (If ever it happens)
I've currently finished the introductory chapter, it got much longer than the initial expected plot (I planned on making it extremely short, two dungeons and the final boss, now you have to traverse continents to end the first chapter, whoops.)

Went back to Starcraft II to play the Terran campaign (again) and maybe the other ones to.
Dang the game is 8 years old now, but it's still a joy to look at. The graphics are so finely crafted and full of details that you will always find something new. And it's always fun.
Love it or hate it, Blizzard knows how to make their games...
PS: I wonder if I should get Nova Ops campaign. It pricey and got lukewarm reviews, but it's some more fun stuff I didn't try.
EDIT: Had some free time on me so I finally managed to finish Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It is a monster of a game in terms of content, but I focused on finishing the main story.
Generally I have mixed feelings about the game. It was a fun and unique expierience with likeable characters. The battle system, while confusing at the beginning, is quite complex and immersive when you learn it. Alas the plot was so-so. Well, on a grand scale it was an enjoyable and epic story with solid and meaningful overall message. But the morality of some characters, overcomplication of some plot elements and confusing time skips dragged it down. I know it's a JRPG story, so it's bound to be confusing, but it was simply too much at times. And unfortunately the game had some elements that I simply hate in JRPG's:
- layers upon layers of needles mechanics. For instance I know there are people who enjoy customization, but giving zounds of possible abilities to attach to characters, each of them further broken down into levels clogg your inventory so much. Plus multitude of items, which seemingly fulfill the same role. And at the end of the day, there only a handful of items that really matter. Plus RNG is king in this game.
- irritating "run around like idiot form point A to B and back", elongated quests
- really confusing navigation (when it comes to quest and the overall "what to do next"). One of the worst I've ever seen...
- idiotic enemy engagement system. Examples? Simply by walking you can be attacked and killed on spot by a flying enemy out of nowhere that's 30 lvl's above you. You can fight a hard monster for 20 minutes (yes there are such long battles as enemies can have a lot of hp), and be destroyed by his enragment (boosts his strength when around half HP), or another monster which joins the fight (another monster can simply walk in, and it can be a lvl 90 monster, tough luck). And because the fights can happen on the smallest plot of lands your battle can simply end because your enemy blows you away from a ridge into an endless pit :/
Sorry for such a rant, but this needed to be said about this game. If anyone is interested it's still one of the biggest RPG's on Switch. I can recommend it cause ultimately it's a fun and epic game with a lot of depth in it (the battle system is quite unique), but be prepared for some frustrating moments.

Currently playing Cities Skylines. A beast. Best city builder I've come across since old Sim City 4 days. The possibilities in this game are truly astounding. I knew it was good last time I played it on release, but with all the DLCs now it's just another level.

I must be crazy, but in spite of having Divinity Original Sin 2 to finish, and Valkyria Chronicles 4 awaiting on my PS4, I bought Forza Horizon 4 for my laptop. I did play the demo so I know what to expect from the game, but it's reviews like this Kotaku FH4 review that ultimately make me think I made the right decision.
I don't know how in Gamers God name I will find time to play all these games, especially with RDR2 looming in the horizon (pun intended), but guess we gamers all have these kind of hardships in life
Oh, and snow you game developers for releasing so many interesting games in such a short timespan...

After nearly two years of slow, sporadic playing, I have finally finished Lords of Xulima. That game is... was something. It had soul and much love for the old-school gaming invested in it. Finishing it feels like finishing Might and Magic VI - a long and somewhat exhausting journey which however leaves mostly good memories and makes you a little sorry that there isn't more of it (for a game which takes well above 150 hours to finish that's quite an achievement). In the end, it turned out that even the story is not a cliched placeholder - there were many hints of that throughout the game but the ultimate revelation what it was all about was nice nevertheless, there's even some philosophy in it. Looking forward to LoX 2, whenever it comes out (it's allegedly already in development).

Played MtG Arena a bit. Looks ok, but after playing Hearthstone I find the UI a bit confusing, and I consider myself a veteran player. I even had some short problems understanding what to do in Tutorial even though I have much experience with MtG. I think they've done a better job with UI in Duels of Planeswalkers, but ofc Arena has a much more attractive visual aspect (even non-legendary cards have animations, which is quite a feat considering how many cards there are in MtG).
------
Forza Horizon 4 is pure fun. I've missed the last two entries, so I probably have a different view on the game (some people probably see it as "more of the same"). So far the game looks very stable on PC, they must've done their homework since FH3 PC 'port', which was criticized for its stability issues.
The game is available on PC which is great as it was probably the only exclusive which made me really consider buying Xbox One.
There's so much to do, Great Britain is a beautiful setting with its four seasons. Surprisingly the activity type I enjoy the most are 4WD cross-country events, they're epic. I have a steady flow of new cars (there's this lottery-like spin each time you complete an event with a high chance of getting one, or at least giving in-game credits for purchasing them), and I don't even have enough time to check them all... and I love how the game experience shapes around your activities: completing a level in a particular type of event (ex. cross country races) will open up more of those types of events, so you don't need to play the events you don't like.

I don't know if I would like to play MTG Arena. If I'm not mistaken, you can't build a modern deck there. When it comes to testing my decks vs AIs, I use Forge. I can make any deck that I want there and the quests are great too!

I have played all the games in the Myst universe, including Uru: Complete Chronicles. By the way, you can now legitimately buy 3rd (Exile) and 4th (Revelation) parts on GOG.COM.
Also I can recommend Obduction, Quern: Undying Thoughts, and The Witness. But none of them succeeded in reviving those distant warm feelings I had when I was playing the original Myst so as Haven Moon did.
Do you know more games like Myst I might have missed?

It's currently Ixalan forward, so what Standard will be as of Friday. The only vs AI thing currently is the tutorial, so you can only play your own builds against random opponents right now.
Personally enjoying MTG Arena a fair bit. It's nice to be able to draft Magic basically whenever and have it look pretty.

I think it has a potential to be even better. MtG is already an established 25 year-old game (even if they have their ups and downs), while Hearthstone seems to be in a bit of a stalemate and might start to loose its fanbase (and many streamers originally started their TCG careers through MtG so they might attract their followers to Arena). Plus the animations are epic (ex. https://youtu.be/7szArLYnouo?t=6m39s). It's a more complicated game so I don't know if the UX will manage (Hearthstone is more approachable, it doesn't have this many phases in a turn and it requires a lot less thinking overall, MtG cards have some really complicated mechanics and multi-layered abilities). I'm not sure about the pack pricing, seems you need a lot of grinding to 'buy' a single pack with in-game currency, but MtG was always on the expensive side.
Unfortunately I just can't find the time to invest in Arena atm.

Good part about MTG Arena is that, while the drafts are a little expensive to get into, the cards you pick are for keeps, so it's a fine way to expand your collection, and if you're good enough at drafting, you can pay for your next draft with the gems you win.
I paid for about two drafts' worth of gems and between my winnings and gold from quests, I can pretty easily play a draft a day or so without additional spending.
Also they're decently generous with unlocking new preconstructed decks, which a) have good cards in them, b) are fun to play, and c) have a good variety of play styles between them.
By now they got the interface to a decently intuitive place and I trust that they can get the game to run well on mobile devices, at which point I may well have a reason to own a tablet
The different 'tables' may not be as manically interactive as in Hearthstone, but there still are some clickables, and I never get tired of chasing the scorpion on the Amonkhet themed one

I returned to Diablo III after a hiatus of 5 years. Of course, had to buy the expansion to trigger me into starting all over. I forgot how dull and idiotic was the story of the game, but at least the grinding and post-game stuff improved a lot since times of Auction House ...
Also tried City Skylines, which felt pretty nice. Perhaps a bit easier than Simcity, but with all the mods and DLCs available, we can manage some tweaks of difficulty and abuse our imagination of landscapes. I may have overdid a bit downloading many assets to my game, that it's now taking 15 minutes to generate the map, hohohoho. I'll trim a bit when I get the patience to do so.
Dead Cells too, but I'll have to buy another control-pad, mine got a problem I can't fix, and I don't feel like playing plataform games on keyboard.
