Rangers at the ready
Played through all the New Vegas DLC for the first time. Only ever had 'em installed for mod requirements earlier, never felt compelled to play them.
Anyway, I emerged from it all slightly OP 
All-American, 16 headshots with 95% hit chance at any range o_____O Pic is at max VATS range.
Most fun is had by rushing headfirst into a horde of raiders and just sequence 16 fatal headshots. Feel like Bale in Equilibrium or something... dance BOOM BOOM BOOM HEADSHOTS.
Build is centered around chems and low AP drain. It doesn't have the sheer immortal OPness of something like a Rad Child build but it does have an absolutely surgical level of precise damage dealing.

What pisses me off about FNV is that it's so trivially easy that it ruins the point of having builds in the first place. It's just picking the next best novelty at being a reaper - be it radchild abusing, the ridiculous explosive ammo stealth mode headshot (splash damage gets multiplied by stealth crit values AND headshot bonus so you just kill groups in a single shot), or the 9001-attacks-per-second-with-bloodnap turbocheese, or even the plain old riot shotgun+and stay back immortality, it's all just MURDERING the poor foes.
I really hate Bethesda's games, it's all about exploits and poorly balanced options

Melee perks + Rushing Water + Katana is another fun one, you attack faster than you can click. Whirlwind of death, even without Turbo.
I really like Bethesda games, it's all about feeling cool while exploring and experiencing a story.

Last couple of weeks I've been having a heavy study period so not had much time to invest in any games that require immersion or a significant time investment.
Luckily it means that I've racked up a nice list of games to play, I've already began to mod and prepare Clash of kings 1.5 (mod for wb) to my specifications, also want to carry on my X3 game, got sidetracked from it when I moved, plus I couldn't find any ships that I really like, currently just floating around with a corvette. (cerberus is nice but it lacks anti capital type weapons that I really want :3)
Need to get started on another DS2 playthrough as well.
Most likely going to stick to M&B, I feel like being a mercenary in a torn world just trying to make it and slowly becoming a rising star. (love the balance of Floris, but CoK and PoP have the depth of background and story that I really do love)

Holy ****, I just cracked open Full Invasion 2's resources and texture files (somehow they put it to hidden if you unpack), anyway it's a goddamn treasure trove of stuff just need to work my way through it, there's like 30x more than what you'd normally find in a normal mod.

Hope you're not playing deity with Mongols tho. You might even have problems with emperor if you're against too many AI.

Hehe I love Civ 5, only just bought God's and kings (I've been playing Brave new world cause it has most of the features anyway). So many epic moments, and a very laid back game. I did have to make some tweaks, such as decrease research rate by 300%, which makes quick actually fun to play as you can enjoy every era to the full.
I played with 2 bros an 1 buddy a month ago (just before moving), I went as Britain, bro went as Russia and the other as America, and the crotchety **** went as Germany.
There were no wars till the Renaissance era, by that time Germany had conquered northern Africa and was spreading his Nazi religion, Russia was just an overpopulated waste not utilizing his resources, America was expanding across eastern Asia, sticking to the coastlands. As for me, I had by then a strong fleet, and 4 cities in South Africa, (madagascar included) and one on Australia. Most of my ships came from piracy just getting 8 trireme then upgrading them. Plus I was just crapping out ships of the line.
Anyway, first battle was between me and America, we clashed over the Philippines due to a dispute over who gets colonial rights over them. (bro speculated that they would be rich in modern resources, such as oil aluminum and uranium) My fleet annihilated his, I captured 1 frigate, and destroyed 5, and I didn't count how many caravels he lost, I had no losses. Kind of a **** move by me, as he was lining up his armada I declared war, so while he was out of moves and unable to retaliate immediately, while I had a full turn for combat. (simultaneous turns are great but as I just mentioned it does have some downsides)
And another game with just me and a bro we had to intervene in a war between Gandhi and Bismarck. Gandhi declared nuclear war on Bismarck for his uranium deposits, then what followed was hell, in the end Gandhi got the worst of it, all his cities got nuked, while German cities in the north were unscathed. We moved in to save Gandhi as the German retaliation was brutal.
