I do hope Sorceress/Rampart/Sylvan and the elves return as the 4th faction, they have been in the series since Heroes 1. I would also like to see Warlock/Dungeon return along with Wizard/Tower/Academy and Barbarian/Stronghold, but they could add these towns in future expansions. Here is what I propose for Sylvan town, with 4 new creatures and 3 old ones:
Core:
Nymph > Dryad
Faun > Satyr
Spirit Bear > Ancestral Bear
Elite:
Hunter > Ranger
Skinwalker > Lycanthrope (The old druids, but can transform into a wolf and werewolf respectively)
Sasquatch > Wendigo
Champion:
Treant Keeper > Treant Ancient

Then let's change wendigo like,
Druid > Hermit ( that can shapeshift as u suggested along with some buffs as it is ) as a spellcaster and we're good to go, it'll be a lot better to see dryads instead of weak sprites for once good call. Assuming it'll be like the centaur from H3.
And changing Skinwalker into Pegasus could also be a good idea to give sylvan some flyers since i just mentioned my version of the druid.
Also we have forgotten the unicorns, it'd be cool to add'em .
Or another idea of mine is to add fairie spellcasters, like "Enchanters ( They were real cool if you remember from H3 )". Weak but powerful buffs. Maybe with some creation magic or destructive magic, same level with the "sister" from heaven with a low spawn rate. They can replace bears.
Anyway, just brainstorming  .

Now that i have seen someone sharing his sylvan idea, i feel pumped up and i really would like to share my idea of academy.
Core:
1) Halflings ( They are going to repair the golems, i thought about something original but couldn't come up with anything, sorry .)
2) Stone Golem / Iron Golem
3) Apprentice / Adept ( This is what i think this should be, spellcasters who use magic very much like H4 Magi. )
Elite
1) Genies / Master Genies ( I think a "must" )
2) Golem Masters. ( Okay this unit adds all the originality we need, its something i had on my mind for a long time. These golem masters use weak stone/iron golems and make more powerful golems using hero as a channel ( hero uses mana ). Golems get extreme buffs thanks to them, imagine your stone golems at H3 becoming gold golems in H3 again or iron golems becoming diamond golems. Of course with some buffing spells possessed by the unit itself, like a wizard focusing on golems. In fact, i thought the name "alchemist" at first but it was a hero name before so, i wasn't sure about that. )
3) Gyrocopter . ( I really want to say Nagas but don't think its possible and i think golem masters take the role of "tanking unit" pretty much and we need a flier unit so, i was thinking something like "Gyrocopter". Helicopters flying , drived by halflings, throwing magical bombs, hit&run unit like a harpy. This is just not good enough i really need to think more about it. )
Edit: In fact, i believe the golem master thing would consume too much mana, maybe we need a unit that can restore mana like some kind of ranged archwizard with powerful spells. Not so sure, have to try it .

1) Titan ( I wouldn't have it any other way ).

Nightterror you criticize too much and all your jugdements are based on D&D. As the bestiary of WoW or H3, H5 and other Heroes series and many other references are different from the concept art of the unit to the description and biography so can fan's creatures be. As Heroes created this weird blue Phoenix, associated with the moon, (Phoenix is more like fire and sun but meh), so do anybody has the chance of creating his/her own bestiary when assuming the 4ht or 5th town of heroes, as all these are yet to be implemented and not even official.

This would make a great creature:
TIKBALANG
Tikbalang is a creature of Philippine folklore said to lurk in the mountains and forests of the Philippines. It is generally described as a tall, bony humanoid creature with disproportionately long limbs, to the point that its kreach above its head when it squats down.It has the head and feet of an animal, most commonly a horse. It is sometimes believed to be atransformation of an aborted fetus which has been sent to earth from limbo.
An untrusting skittishness is prevalent among the communites surrounding the mountainous regions of the King Filipinas archipelago. The skewed, furtive glances exchanged when family members ask to be accompanied somewhere are a habit formed from fear of the Tikbalang. Often eerily mimicking the appearance of victims' relatives, this forest spirit will lead lone people out to the heavily wooded depths of the mountain ranges, occasionally breaking the increasingly uncomfortable silence with short bursts of reassurement, and stilted gratitude for the assistance. The suddenly pungent aroma of tobacco and drunken swaying motion adopted by the false family member is noticed before their face blurs into something that resembles more that of a horse's than a human's. Delirious town folk who have stumbled their way into town after long absences tell of how this apparation pushed and slapped them, often knocking them over and not allowing them to right themselves; all the while shaking with nervous, childish giggling. People say that the cessation of resistance or protest will suddenly lead a victim to find themselves alone in the woods, plunged into darkness; the sun long set. The Wendigo is a mythical creature appearing in the mythology of the Algonquian people. It is a malevolent cannibalistic spirit of feral hunger that stalks the battlefield in order to slake its unending hunger for human flesh into which humans could transform, or which could possess humans. Those who indulged in cannibalism were at particular risk,and the legend appears to have reinforced this practice as taboo.

I'm not saying this is for Rampart... just a new good looking creature, yeah... "good looking"...
I just made this clear of how the Wendingo actually looks and is and ofc it doesn't fit Rampart, anyway another one similar:
NUKED MOOSE
Sickened by radiation and scarred by biological and chemical weapons, this Bison Moose spends its short life madly attacking any living creature it comes in contact with. Drunken with pain and maddened by neurotoxins, this sad beast bays at the dusty sky where the sun could once be seen.

Rather have the nuked moose and reindeer thingies than those typical nancy-boy elves. 
HIII seems to have been the peak of Rampart's manliness, it's gone downhill since then. HV Elves look like big sissies (war dancers especially), the treants aren't as manly, the Dwarves and Centaurs are gone, and the Clydesdale Unicorns are gone too. HVI needs to put some of the badass back in the nature town.

LOVE IT! Except as others have pointed out, Wendigo are kinda out of place. Maybe Bigfoot > Sasquatch?
And.... Nuked Moose??? I guess hunters would quit their hobby on the spot after seeing one of those

Some good ideas there, although I would make some further changes and not only pull the Hunter down to core but also the Druid (cf. Priestess and Succubi now being core):
Core:
______ > ______________
Hunter > Ranger
Druid > Skinwalker*
Elite:
Nymph > Dryad (why must we always have these wimpy Nymphs, i.e. Sprites, as boring level 1)
Pegasus > _____________
Unicorn > _____________
Champion:
Treant > Ancient Treant
As for the remaining core, it can be many things. Faun could work, I wouldn't mind seing the Blade Dancer back either, or something entirely new. I'm not keen on normal Animals (Wolfs, Bears) in the line-up, however, either something racial or a magical beast/creature of some sort. One could also stick to tradition and have the Sprite as final core.
* NOT a Lycanthrope! Lycanthropes are evil and unpredictable nocturnal beings associated with the Moon and has *nothing* to do with Sylvan elves!

I disagree. Part of nature is animalistic savagery, besides a lycanthrope doesn't *have* to be evil. This comic shows a different perspective if you want to take a look.
