Why would you want to use that?
Because the ummm you get from the hmmmm quest is pretty much what you have now except 10 times better

Because it looks good with Dragonscale armor.
Also I'm using mods to make those kinda artifacts not suck in comparison to self-crafted gear.

There's a guy named Zaldiir making a series of mods called "Legendary", they're focused on improving unique gear. You can find them all by simply searching Legendary on the Nexus.
This is the one I'm using for the artifact I mentioned. I use the normal version, makes it slightly more powerful than daedric equipment... which is balanced considering that it doesn't have dual damaging enchantments or the like.

Seems my Skyrim's radiant quest system is bugged pretty heavily.
I can't figure out what's wrong, and other people are reporting the same problems. When we get a radiant quest (miscellanous), instead of the radiant item being described we instead get something like "Find alias=item in cave"
The map updates with the cave in question, but you cannot search for it by pressing m in the journal. Also, the item doesn't appear at all.
This basically means that a very very large portion of miscellaneous quests are broken completely for me. I can console command myself out of trouble most of the time, but it ruins the immersion...
I blame Bethesda, I bet it's their update's fault. I've deactivated every mod that didn't just involve texture replacers and it's still broken.

...since the Forgemaster's Fingers is a radiant quest to be allowed into the orc strongholds... this means that I cannot start the quest for the artifact that my character wants...
**** I hate this game. I want 1.1 too...
EDIT: Alright... gonna revert to 1.1 now, and then try and prevent Steam from auto-updating me...

Man, Ova has the be the most chill being in all of Skyrim.
You shout for him and he shows up 30 minutes later being all like "oh, was there something you wanted burned?"

I doubt a re-installation of Windows would help. Most likely your saved game is now broken. You'll probably have to start a new game under the patch you want to revert to.

@Elodin: Yes I suspect that as well, I didn't want to start a new one since the intro is so GODDAAMN long but yeah, looks like I'll have to.
@Shyranis: You crazy  Skyrim is good but far from good enough to make me reinstall windows ^^

When you equipt a stat raising item, do you level those skills up according to your current (boosted) stat, or your original one?
In oblivion it was the boosted stat, I.E if you wore items that gave you stat boosts then it's that much harder to level that stat up.

Every time I play through the intro of this game I find it so ironic that the first guy who gets executed could have survived if he had just let the priestess give them their last rights instead of hurrying up the execution ^^
@Ivor: No idea, haven't noticed any slow-down in leveleing when wearing skill-boosting equipment at least.

I just realized that I can just say **** off to Ralof/Hadvar during the intro and rush through Helgen's caves without them and it will still end the same way.
Good... makes creating new characters less tedious.

Tbh it's kinda strange when making an Altmer character, that when Hadvar asks "are you with the embassy?" your char could just have said yes and no Imperial would have dared to touch you
