Of course PC will get it, but Microsoft has a deal with Bethesda for getting the DLC earlier than everyone else.

So they get to act as bugtesters ^^

EDIT:

Vampire quest makes sense considering the files, but may I ask for your source?

Yeah well didn't they say that space invaders from a Star Wars portal would arrive and rebuild Masser into a Death Star and try and destroy Tamriel and the Dovakhiin would have to build a Dwemer airship and fly to the moon and duel Darth Vader?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Playing with my second char now, lvl 58, did all major questlines, have some open misc quests, putting some stuff on my map, nothing much more to it need to find some more Dragon Priest masks and 4 or 5 Word Walls to have all full shouts. It was fun while it lasted.

God I'm in a doomed raltionship with my iron sword, (it doesn't have a perk, ergo steel can be improved far more) but it's elegant yet simple design has me enthralled, (plus its viking origin)

Going to do my best and place a **** load of enchantments to make up for the damage shortcomings (plus wear clothing which increases one-handed)

Edit: Also I don't see why people QQ so much about horse armours, I truly think they should've been implemented in Skyrim (I'm fully armoured and my horse is as bare as a cheap hooker )

It's a joke, right?

I'm guessing he's already used his thane powers to escape justice, not this time. Plus you don't wear heavy armour for thieving, silly fool.

Let's post something interesting about the world of Tamriel. Here is "CHIM".

Quote:
Alright, I've seen way too many topics with people who just don't understand this topic. To preface this explanation, existence is the dream of an unconscious "godhead", much like the Demon Sultan Azathoth dreams reality in the Cthulhu mythos.

In Morrowind, Vivec uses two terms to describe the cosmology of TES universe: the wheel and the tower. The wheel represents the conventional view of reality that people have. You have the Mundus, which is essentially the physical world, in the center, and then you have the bones of Akatosh forming the spokes of the wheel, which represent the Aedra, the 9 (8) divines. The spaces between spokes are the realms of the Daedra. This is how the vast majority of people in game perceive the theological framework of their world.

Vivec talks about, in his 36 sermons included in Morrowind, to steal the secret of the Tower. The tower, based on the Elhenofex symbol for CHIM (which is one of the first recorded languages in TES world and is a strange, ever shifting, and inherently dangerous language.), which appears as a tower. The tower, then, is the act of turning the wheel on its side, just as if you viewed an actual wheel from the front, it would appear much like an I.

What this symbolizes then is that existence is nothing but the interaction between two inherently contradictory concepts, in game named Anu and Padomay, or Order and Chaos, Stasis and Change, are the only forces at play in the existence in the dream-reality of TES. Everything is essentially one thing, the grey maybe, the combination of 1 (order) and it's exact opposite, chaos (-1).

Thus, the secret of the tower is that everything is the same, the dream of the godhead. You then essentially come to the realization that because you are everything, and everything is but a dream, you are actually nothing. It's called "zero-summing" and books in morrowind had examples of the blind monks having this happen to them in the in game literature. Essentially, you take the fact that you both exist (1) and don't exist (-1) and you 'wake up' and disappear from the dream that is reality (1-1=0), and as a result you are erased from reality.

CHIM, then, is the act of realizing this, but instead of losing your belief that you shouldn't exist, you look logic in the face, yell "I DO EXIST", and because of that, you become essentially a lucid dreamer in reality, aware of the dream and able to manipulate reality because reality is really just a part of you. It's how Vivec maintained his divinity despite losing his connection to the heart of Lorkhan, and it's why Tiber Septim was able to turn the jungle that was once cyrodil into temperate forest.

Now, I will say that this is an obscure but WELL-ESTABLISHED and CANONICAL part of the lore. It's been confirmed by Devs multiple times, and it can be a hard concept to wrap your head around or conceptualize.

The entire world of Elder Scrolls is the dream of a god, and everyone within it are fragments of the dream.

Mind**** much? I think this is a very interesting part of the Elder Scrolls world, much because I study lucid dreaming myself.

This can be the reason for why the Dwemer all disappeared. They all zero-summed; became aware that they are everything and nothing, 1-1=0, and they were erased from existance and vanished without a trace.

The funny thing is that this part of the lore is used as way to justify the modifications for the games! The player has achieved CHIM and is aware of the falseness of the world, and can thus use his power of lucid dreaming (the construction kit) to mold it to his liking.

It's pretty a damn cool concept.

I can't decide which Hold is my favorite. Good old Whiterun is pretty cool, being pretty much a clone of Edoras in Rohan (it even has a horse symbol for its crest). The vista setting surrounded by the snow-capped mountains is really nice.

Solitude feels more like a Christianized-style Skyrim. The gray stone castle in the arctic environment is really cool looking. I love when I first traveled there and I could see the city sitting on the cliff side, with the blue palace all-but hanging over air.

Then there's Markath, which is really really old stone with the waterfalls and such. Feels like there should be dinosaurs running around it. It's neat but I don't like it as well as some of the others. The architecture is too cubic.

I like Riften a lot too. Since that's where the Thieves' Guild is located it definitely has that.... thief feel to it. I like how the bottom-level of the Hold kind of reminds me of a cold-weather version of Venice with how they have the boats set up.

Then there's Windhelm. This Hold doesn't leave much of an impression. It's just sort of a normal-looking city.

The 4 smaller holds have their distinct characteristics too, but they're just... so small. You can't even properly make a pitstop there to sell your stuff because they have like 2 merchants in town. Initially Dawnstar was my favorite among the smaller ones, but I think that's just because it has an awesome-sounding name. I was like "Dawnstar, sounds epic", but then you show up and there's like 2 houses and a boat with 5 people living in it that are all having nightmares and are on the verge of committing suicide. I was just like "THIS TOWN IS DEPRESSING" and moved on to Winterhold, which was possibly even more depressing. I think the northeastern corner of Skyrim is where all of the emo people live.

For the major holds I'm torn in between Whiterun, Solitude, and Riften. Whiterun has the most natural beauty, Solitude has the nicest city, and Riften has the most mojo.

Mine would probably be Whiterun followed by Morthal. Whiterun has most everything I need in it, with armorer and house right next to the entrance so I can sell/dump stuff off my poor overencumbered char easily.

Dawnstar annoyed me because I tried to do the introductory quest and got caught on that glitch with your helper getting stuck in the stairs.

I don't favor any particular hold since I just travel from hold to hold slaughtering everything.

Though Solitude is nice since it usually has alot of armored imperials guarding it
