I can't get over the cannibalism myself.  I do have a morbid-curiosity question though: the eating-enemies-within-three-days thing, is that a ritual thing (you have to eat your foes to give proper respect or whatever) requiring they do it before three days are up or a common sense thing forbidding them from eating foes after three days are up (because rot)? I'm also a little curious what they do if they kill a Spriggan, but I'd be surprised if that specific instance has been covered in the lore.

The three day requirement is most likely a ritual thing, part of the pact. No idea about Spriggans.
The meat mandate isn't the only cool cannibalistic lore about the Bosmer though. See, when they really wanna **** someone up they call upon the Wild Hunt.
Massive cannibalistic orgies.

I hate Steam for this!
So after half a year of not playing Skyrim I wanted to play it again (on pc) but Steam ninja-patched my game and now I have the following problem:
When I want to loot or buy something, it doesn't work. For example when I'm in the buy menu the button-description says "sell" and really when i click something from the vendors stuff that i have too, i sell it.
Back then i could fix this by replacing skyrim - interface.bsa with an older one, but this somehow doesn't work anymore
Does anyone of you have an idea how to fix this? (Without reinstalling it)

Yes, half the fun of skyrim are the mods
But I don't think any of the mods i installed yesterday would cause the interface not to work anymore.
Shall I try to list all the mods anyway?

I enjoy the original without a single mod.
But if the game gets better:
Wich mods should i go get?
Besides Graphics HD pack, Inventory Mod and Stronger Dragons.

Some of the mods I use:
A nice mage dwelling. Crystalis.
For other magic stuff, I went with:
Empowered magic
Ancient Spells-Morrowind and Oblivion spells
Psijic Teleport Spells
Summon Ice Wall
For equipment:
Bandolier-Bags and Pouches
Cloaks of Skyrim
Winter is Coming Cloaks
Craftable Circlets
Craftable Staves
Left Hand Rings (you can wear one ring of the left hand)
Hoods and Circlets (can wear a circlet + hood with some hoods)
Some might consider the last two to be cheats, but I figure a robe takes up multiple slots so those mods are not really imbalancing.
I also got Winterhold Improved to expand on the mage college.
I use Travelers of Skyrim and Adventurers and Travelers to add people to the roads and wilderness. Expanded Towns and Villages to make some villages larger. Skyrim Monster Mod to add more monster variety.

I've posted several mod recommendations in this thread, they're fairly up-to-date although a lot more awesomeness has popped up since then.
Be sure to use Skyrim Nexus instead of Steam Workshop for your modding needs.

There a new patch for skyrim? Ah nevermind, thought that I'd have to disable all my mods due to a patch, but turns out that the latest mod that I downloaded is the causes the game to crash.

Been too busy to play, but I've been entertaining myself wondering what the Blades would have done if the Dovahkiin had been one of the Thalmor--and just happened to be Dragonborn too. Delphine probably would have killed him/her on the spot, but Esbern knows about the whole end-of-the-world thing, so...?

How can I purchase a house in Windhelm, if I killed some b!tch during a dark brotherhood quest and now the serial killer quest won't start for me. how to fix that?

Go to the Shattershield house, look for the body of Tova, take the Hjerim key off her, go to the house and pick one of the fliers on the table.
