Dear Quantomas.
I want to add new towns to Heroes V. Is it possible in the latest version? If I don't want to download this mod and I wanna add new town what should I do? I don't know that is is good topic for it or no.

In one word: no
In more words: it requires a LOT of work investigating the code, including this one as well as many others.

@Ciuchcia88, sorry for lateness of reply.
The answer is still no, not at this point in time for H5TotE. There are too many things that need to be done that require much much effort & perseverence in order to do that & Q doesn't have the time to do all of it by himself...

Im playing the latest beta ver. of Mod and everything is stable and ok...Please make less XP for 40 lev and cap for 60 lev at least.
1600/1200 resolution and is going fine for me with Mods (sharp creatures and sharp background + colored gems and weeks lol) and is i see there is something new in beta they AI had FOG of War very goood :-) thx and please don't abandon your work !!!!!

I have 2 big problems with the new ai ( its the newest version the beta thingy)
1. In hot seat mode on some maps duel of the titans for example, after some time the ai does nothing anymore, no hero moves, no bildings are build no creature bought , i can take its castle and it still wont do anything. When this ocour after every time the player tunrs starts it reads a message Red Ponders, Blue Ponders ect.
2. The ai seem to never build a single ship, on water maps, it clears its island but never build nor summon a ship,it jsut stuck on it home island for ever, even when i go it its island and the ship is free to use, it wont do it ether.
Both occoured in hot seat mode on different maps i always played on Heroic and ai lookahead heroic.

um, you should know that the beta is NOT the latest!
The latest at the moment is 3.1j
& there is another forum for more info (look on previous page of this thread)

SKPRIMUS was informing you that public release "J" is more recent and has several improvements over the last Beta.
You should play that until the next release, which, btw, is not far off.

The last release? yes. However there are also a few optional enhancements. Artifact gaurds, a slider for A.I. Weeks-bonus, taxes and enabling 8 skills versus 6 have big impacts on Town and Hero-development.
You should head to the EE site and read a few of Quantomas' posts, the work that's underway is much more than a smarter A.I.

I have some crash issues on win 7 64 bits (running app in XP SP3 compatibility mode)
On one particular game I have crashes at the 6th month in a Random Generated Map, when I click on the spellbook of johra (my hero), at a specific position only.
OR if I manage to dodge the crash by clicking from a different location, I get no crash this time, but later loading the save will crash.
Also, the spell book is always stretched and looks a bit weird, but I can live with it.
I can provide the map + 2 saves for debugging purpose.
I also noticed another fatal bug with artifacts, when I switch some sets the 4p property still gets counted as active even though i don't have it on anymore. (I tried to save this one, but it crashes at loading as well)
I'm wondering, could it be a bug related to the amount of items in the inventory ? (I have a lot, since I tend to sell only when needed, which in late game, is pretty rare)

I'm convinced those late games crash I get are due to a too high number of items in the inventory. Tested a working save, only selling stuff in the market caused a crash when loaded a save I made after this point. (I just happened to defeat a hero which had lot of stuff in his inventory)
I think this bug is in the original ToE game too, I have a lot of late game crashes like this when my inventory gets big.
For someone with access to the source code this can be fixed by adding a cap to the max items a player and a computer can hold.
The problem comes when an opponent is defeated and all the items are transfered automatically to the winner, it can corrupt the future saves if their number is too big.
(still obtainable by recruiting him on the tavern)
Anybody can investigate on that ?

AI Strategy Bug
I want to report two things I notice in the combat strategy for the AI.
1. The AI radically ignores gated units. Unless a unit is completely stuck/surrounded by gated units, it refuses to attack them, EVEN if the unit is on its path to its target and it will win the attack by hitting it anyways, and even if the computer has a unit with the "no retaliation" ability - it simply refuses to engage them unless it is surrounded.
2. The AI doesn't seem to run away when it ought to. Needs to come closer to Heroes 3 standards - even if the computer can do a bit more damage to me, one would think that it would run instead of killing 2 imps just so I don't get experience points for dropping a lackey hero!

Hi!
Have found a couple of bugs in the latest release of MMH55:
- caster luck doesn't work. The event itself is triggered as it should, but spell damage is not changed.
- new item that provides ore each week doesn't work (items that provide other types of resources do work though).
I am not quite sure if this is the thread I should post to, so correct me if I am wrong.

Please do not use this thread for posting MMH55 bugs, in fact this thread should be closed. 'H5.5 EE' is long dead, but 'EE without H5.5' still lives as indie project.
