Oh don't you worry, I'm still very much around and not likely to leave anytime soon
And once again, a lightning-fast bugfix release
Cheers Quantomas!

I went ahead and tested the problem I had in hotseat with the grayed out options and confirmed that even though there is room for 8 skills you still are limited to 6, I will test with 3.1d and see if that build will give access to 8 skills in hotseat.
Edit: I found a solution to this, actually all you need to do is use 3.1c (not 3.1d) and set the options from there and save the game before you end your turn and then reload with 3.1g

Hopefully, I can now get around to review the new Hall of Decision.
Done.

I wondered how long I would have before needing to update the "courtesy-link" to the "latest build" on the master post. Answer...not long
Btw, something felt odd when I updated the current build. I went back and checked. I correctly linked to this thread, (the last post of the page before) Are you going to put "G" in the 3.1 A.I. Patch thread also?.

Actually, all the different links to the public release point to the same file. This is done to prevent outdated links on other boards serving old versions.
So it would be completely sufficient, if you could just mention the current version in the first post, e.g. 3.1g.
More simple and automated, you could instead use the following link:
Latest version and news
This is simply the main page of the EE website and I keep this current.

Unfortunately, it does not - it still crashes at the same point But at least there are no problems with Dream Land

I rechecked with the released 3.1g version, the savegame you provided for Land of Confusion runs the turn cleanly. I also checked with a special debug build that would report any crashes of the AI process, but again, it runs clean on my win7 machine.
Suspect, would be good if we good figure this one out.

I test it at Win XP (maybe this is the reason?) and it crashes. Could you give a link to the debug build?

I have run that save using H5_AIadv_3110_beta_Debug_open.exe. It crashed again, logs are here. I hope this helps.

From the logs it appears that the H5_AIProcess works fine. Somehow your game state may be corrupted. That the crash happens after a rollback (the game reverts to an earlier state) supports this. The savegame also exhibits an anormality that the fog of war is not lifted by the open build, which indicates scripts do not work as normal.
Recommendation: replay Land of Confusion with 3.1.10. If this happens again, I recommend a clean reinstall. It might also be that the map is somehow not clean.

I wanted to do that anyway. I planned to do that after I finish current game but if necessary, I may do it faster. BTW: why not 3.1.g?

There is one improvement in 3.1.10 that addresses savegames of maps that consume lots of resources. I suspect that the ToE vanilla has a bug that occurs if the game runs out of memory and objects get copied by the garbage collector and the rollbacker.
From the logs you provided, I could tell quite a bit of the cause, same thing here. AI logging is fairly minimal in 3.1.10, so it is not much slower.
But it is not urgent. Do things in the order you like.

Just wanted to say thanks for the fantastic mod you guys have put together, you've done a great job!
That said, I have run into a bug. On the first mission of the necromancer campaign the patrolling wizards (orange) are completely stationary and have blocked the access to the eastern part of the map. Everything appears to be up to date as well.
Any ideas?

I was testing out the 3.1.10 beta and I was reading the system_ai.log just to see what was there and I was wondering if it was normal to see so many of these messages:
Warning: building event dropped because buffer is to small. Increase cMaxBuildingEvents.
It shows 103 of those warning messages in a row in some parts of the log, just curious if this was anything to worry about it.

The warnings are always a serious sign. Though these will not bring down the game, these have top priority.
If you could produce a savegame that lets me reproduce the warnings, I can tackle these.

I'm glad I spotted something there then, what I will do is try the map once again without any mods at all just to be sure that's not the problem.
I was able to reproduce the same errors on a new game which I didn't play through much more then a week, but here it is:

It should be possible to disable neutral champions, they really destroy the balance imo, especially with destruction magic. You jump on an easy stack and in spawns a hero which every turn casts Armageddon.
