Um, I don't think Black Dragons can learn spells, but I don't see any harm in trying. Could I buy a spell book from you?

Ahhh, a misconception with many dragons. They can learn spells just fine. Use em too. It's the fact that spells don't affect them. Any spells, benefecial or deadly will not affect most dragons (being that you're a Black Dragon Spells will have no effect on you). So because of this you will only be able to attack with spells or cast such things as summon boat and veiw air etc. The spell book is on the house. We don't charge for them here. Here you are, if you would like to start learning a few spells today this is the Royal Order of Supreme Magi Tower.
As for you Darion, Even the most powerful Mage in the world could not stop that. I may have only one thing that 'could' help. It's an old artifact called the Banner of Protest. It is supposed to change the minds of those set out to do somthing. I have not seen it work myself so I cannot give it a full recomendation. To tell you the truth, Its preveous onwer was found near the back of a pub as a burning corpse. I will give it to you for only 10 gold pieces. What do you say?

Hey, mightmage. I am not a tosser, but I have many around me that are. Are there any spells that would protect me from them? Or, god forbid, prevent ME from becoming one myself?

To tell you the truth, This is the first I've heard of tossing. I bought a mechcanical spell (not of pure magic) From Conn. He says it will do the trick but I am not sure of it. I have recently done some reasearch on it and I think I have found some spells that should work. The first one is Shadowform. Shadowform changes the caster into an ethereal being for a short time (time will vary depending on version), and increases Speed, Resistance, and Physical armor. The second spell is called Banish. When cast, this spell will will banish all extra-planer cretures near the caster. That's all I can find for right now but I'm still looking.

first u are not suppose to teach black dragons magic, lest of all give hime a free magic book! see what they done to all our beautiful towers and giants??(the intro of HOMM3) they destroyed them!!!
and oh...MM u sound loke Conn when u are delling your products, sometimes i wonder if u two are one person one selling weapons and the other selling magic items...
man all these shops opening here, sooner or later we'll see a grocery store opeining at the corner of the tavern here...geez man....what is goin on here??

To Wizardboy: Yes it's true that black dragons have been known to be evil but look where there bred, with those of the dungeon town. Every monster could actually be considered neutral in a way, until they are recruited by a hero. After that what they do is a direct order of the hero. Lupin doesn't look bad or like he would use magic for evil so I trust him. Besides, he can't do anything dangerous without the proper knowledge.

So I take it things arn't going so well with your behemoth girlfriend afterall. That's too bad, you two looked good together. Well with that aside I think I have somthing that may help you. *Mighty Mage shows Dorf to a large library like room full of old scrolls and books.* This is the R.O.S.M. Guild of Spells. Most of these are old so you must be careful. Unlike some of the spells we sell, these scrolls and books don't leave. You'll need a Spell Book in order to cast them. *Mighty Mage walks over to a dusty shelf and pulls out a crude looking book with writing that looks like that of an Ogre or some other orcish creature.* This was a book of spells written by a famous Orge Magi. This was from the times when spells were more widely used by their race. This one here tells how they dealed with unruly Behemoths. The spell is called Ancient Bone. This spell, when cast with the Ageless Bone, an old magical artifact, will hit behemoths with a paralyzing blast and in some cases can kill them. When used on an Ancient Behemoth it will be reduced to nothing more than a pile of bones and fur. Here's your spell book and the cost of learning this spell with the artifact comes to a total of 100 Gold pieces.

Y'know Dorf, I may have an alternitive. How would you feel about working here. I'll give you the spell and artifact and than you work it off. If you've been able to live with behemoths all this time than you should have no problem being a stable aid. By the way Dorf, I've been meaning to ask you, What exactly are you? Well anyway If stable aid isn't good I have two more job openings that need filled. Let me know if you're interested.

Well Fantusta I believe I have a job that might be perfect for you. How would you like a job in the research field? It's kind of hard for me to run the shop, teach magic, and research spells. If you would like that job all I need is for you to fill out an application and I'll look it over.

Wizardboy: Clerica is my sister, she'll be visiting no chambers. Grocery Store? I know of no grocery store. If you would like a job wizardboy I would be gracious to have a wizard or mage working for me. That is if you don't give me any trouble.
