It may be of interest to you that the Minotaur of the Addon is by far the mosst powerful Mino ever seen in any HoMM. Currently, just to give you an impression, even the basic Minotaur is one tough mother of 90 HPs. Add two abilities, preemptive strike on one hand (retaliation comes before the enemy attack), and Mighty Slash on the other, a special attack with a cooldown, that does regular damage, but without retaliation, while pushing small creatures back 2 squares ("No, you won't block the Stalkers!"), and you have one hell of a BASIC(!) unit.
They also look like they mean it.
Someone clearly loves Minos in this part of Ashan's history.

So my predictions about Minos special ability (Mighty Slash) were right. I had a thought that it will be something similar to Annihilators and Jaguars ability (no retaliation)...
On a side note JJ, the fact, that you are telling all this means that the info sharing restrictions for insiders were lifted?

Nope. But at this point I feel that special info about a known creature, like how many HPs they come with - (currently!) - or what exactly is behind a known ability won't spoil anything for anyone, least of all for Ubi.
Anything known abot the 10 Dungeon reputation abilities, by the way?

Thanks for the info JJ, the 90 HP are in line with elites though but still nice.
If you had Counterstrike III, it would probably not "be used up" if mino retaliates first (as this is his ability)..
Also I wonder if Bloodrage IV would ignore this ability, probably not....

if the unupgraded has 90 hp what about the upgraded?
Also, are they slow?

Right, Counterstrike III is useless on Minos, but I and II are a nice plus. Bloodrage IV should NOT work on them (since they attack first).

Right, Counterstrike III is useless on Minos, but I and II are a nice plus. Bloodrage IV should NOT work on them (since they attack first).
You mean since they retaliate first....
The thing is Bloodrage IV counters Counterstrike III so maybe it works the same way and can counter the mino's retaliation (which would've come first)? Maybe overcomplicating things here but just saying.....

I'd say that depends on whether this Dungeon's growth rate is less than the other factions, just like in Heroes 5.

JJ seems very convinced that Dungeon is overpowered, and remenber he is playing the expansion. I'd trust his words

JJ, are Black Dragons worthy of their legacy? What I mean is are they a powerhouse that cost a lot of resources, or are they simple Champion tier units like the rest?
Also, do you know how many new neutrals there will be in the expansion, or when those will be revealed?

I don't think dungeon will be overpowered....it all depends how you use them and any faction for that matter....most say inferno is very weak but if you use them cleverly they can be very strong....
