PS the shades campaign is set some 100 years after H6. You still get to learn what's happened in the meantime though.
So the only two characters in H6 main campaign that has a chance to still be around is anatasaya(not sure if I spelled it right *shrug*) and kiril.
I do hope we hear what happens to those two since those two are my favorite characters/faction next sandro(his DLC was awesome 10x better than the main campaign and its only two maps.)
Sandro has the kind of voice acting where he could read you a bedtime story lol.

So at least we can expect several entries telling the main events during that 100 years, somewhere sometime, right?
Well in 566YSD we have the Days of Tears of Fire with the death of Tuidhana being accused for burning Brythigga, the discovery of the actual culrpits, the demons, in 585YSD and the necromancers becoming a powerful force in the seven cities between 610-660YSD....plus we have Sandro wanting to go behind the "veil" to the other side of Asha's created world...

They said this on the Celestial Heavens Expansion Q&A:
"The patch 1.8 was the last one planned so far. However, we will support the release of the stand-alone expansion if needed."
I wouldn't have too much hope...

Now something els bothers me how in God's name are they going to make MP work, if the have new stuff in addon that are not found in vanilla or for that matters will there be only addon owners playing among each others and same for vanilla!?

It's not very clear, really.
On their answer to question number five of the same Q&A, they stated:
"we're making sure the expansion remains compatible with the original game and the owners of both versions can play together in multiplayer modes."
Which contradicts what they said afterwards on the same Q&A, since they won't update the original game.

And here is one of my biggest fears connected with the expansion
It's based on the same question and logical answer, backuped by a unoficial rumor from our forums
I am afraid, that when the expansion comes aut, the game will get a 2.0 patch that will add only the new things like faction, campaignes and items. So basically everybody who has the game will have these things in his game but will not be abel to use them.
This is backuped by the fact, that when one user in our forums asked, if the game will be on DVD, a shop responded "NO" you will only get an activation key.
So how long will it take for people to create Scenarios, whit DE heroes to enable other people to play with them.
Since logicaly, All the new content must be in the original game, since the games need to comunicate with each other, and the only thing that that "buying" the expansion will do, is, that it will allowe you to play for the DE.

Then, getting the expansion...only for the two campaigns? 30 € for 2 campaigns? That would be so ***** overpriced lol

Two campaigns and one faction, you would most likely be able to encounter in random maps, but not be able to play it.
It would be the same case as it was with the new neutral dwellings and Artefact sets in the DLCs.

Well I think they just surprised themselves they weren't expecting to postpone the game 3 more months so now they need to find something to occupy us with till the release date.
So I think the new info will come at a even slower rate than before...

What do you mean, no retail DVD release for the stand-alone expansion?
How about all the new comers who've never played this type of game before?!
All of these new comers will need a hard copy of the game and, a lot of them will want the Stand-Alone Expansion Edition of the game already patched up and totally ready for playing right after the installation on their Win. 7 or Win. 8 radically new PC machine.
It is not everybody that can access or, even, find the original game from Fall of 2011, in case anyone of you ever thought of that very real possibility-problem.
