Or if you see someone running away and you can't reach them, just warp back to your nearest town (TP is so very nice) grab an army and wait for him to show his face and don't get curb stomped by an enemy with 1 week's worth of extra troops? Once you see an enemy, you are not required to hunt them to the better end, after all. In fact, you really should wait until it is a battle of your choosing or the odds are equal but leaning towards your favor.

I didn't have town portal and enemy was in fog of war. I saw him with my last movement points and he had considerably weaker army than me. Ofc now I will consider he will chain army even though it may involve 4 heroes. Nevertheless my argument about lost movement points is still relevant. Better not to lose any and taking snatch on a custom map is worth more than 1 turn maybe(on my map is worth 33 mp).

Amazing how Disciples: Reincarnation can have far greater and more complex graphics than H6, yet I haven't experienced a single slowdown. H6 on the other hand, I'm lucky if I can get the mouse to move because the game can't handle the resources.
Yet Ubisoft will keep pushing to more demanding graphics in the following installments, even though it has been working against the players

I've been moving house so did not have any free time at all. Now having watched new gameplay video, few things that I really liked:
1. Minotaurs look amazing. Their animations just so powerfull that they can be mistaken fot Champions.
2.Dragons are the most intimidating champions yet. Look like mini bosses, even though their half transparent huge wings will take time to get used to.
3.dungeon cores look like a lot of fun, but I can see the weakness - no tanks at core level.
What I did not like:
1. Presentets were probably told by Ubi to show as little as possible.
2. My beloved Manticores... Where arr they?
3.Hero attack animation is copypast.
4. So is black dragon lucky strike.
5. How do they explain fire breath dealing dark damage? Malassa's hallucinations?
One observation, dungwon special building, malassas loom? As I understand, it hides stacks of cores, not their numbers.
Overall, looks really amazing, cant wait.

Considering the state of the game and the loss of the original developer, you shouldn't be surprised by sort of things like those ones, imo

The explanation is in your lack of imagination. There have been dragons with corrosive breath, lightning breath, ice breath ... so why no shadow breath ?

Well, Ubi has now found a decent studio - Virtious. This studio was also somewhat involved in Heroes 6 as well, btw. And hey, we are talking about BLACK DRAGONS HERE. Even mere Stalkers and Asassins are unique!

Nah mate its a lack of your reading comprehension
I'm all for dark breath of Black Dragons, we even have Elrath blazing eyeballs in this game!
But why is it fire if not only to please series fans? May be its time to realise that Ashan is completely different universe, although I can see Ubi making steps to merge the universes back..

Whereas I fully agree that people need to start realising that Ashan is an entirely different continuum and I fully encourage people to accept that. I have to disagree.
First I highly doubt they will merge both continuae. On the one hand the current continuum is the "baby" of Erwan and several other "high-ranking" people within. On the other because of the reason they broke with the old continuum in the first place. They found it too convoluted, ambiguous and confusing to continue with it and were too afraid of messing it up. And I doubt having Marzhin as a (semi)permanent member of the dev-team is going to change that.
Secondly, whereas I appreciate the effort they are trying to give people what they want, I think they should stand firm in this and not do so. All these nods and winks to the old continuum are fun, but they do not and will not add to the acceptance of the new continuum. And if anything they have caused some among the fan base to cry harder for the old instead of them accepting the new.

I fully agree with you, but with Sandro's return there have been many hints that Ashan is just the one World on the old universe, and that on the other side of the Void old Worlds still exist. I dont like that since I never did get into the old one..

Think of the Void as Erwan's imagination (pun intended?). There's no way that the old universe will make it past that obstacle.

Agree.
As much, I expect some kind of 'quick temporal visit' to one of the older worlds, and legacy stuff like Xeen map, some characters redone, etc...but nothing more.
Ashan is their bet on M&M.
(Also, don't forget they mentioned so many times they didn't have enough info from the old universe and didn't want to screw the fans).

Well, if things go "terribly wrong", they can always go back to the old universe to appease the fans. That's why they left this little backdoor (Void)

Good video. 5 minutes and still better than 1hr russian one lol.
Manticores are gorgeous, their animations are very nice.
Minotaurs lucky strike is fun too. Bone dragon does look impressive, they done great job on that recolour. But. I just hope that it is a third neutral or something. But deep inside I know it is second of two. I saw it coming, you know, classic champion, and second campaign being Necro and all.. Altgough no files on a second neutral were found in expansion, all of this implied a recolour.
Was it so hard bringing some Sylvan or Academy units in?

Yes, to be more precise it is called Spectral Dragon and looks similar to Dragonwraith but a bit bonier wings with green glow, and of course smaller
New building that was revealed in screenshots few days ago is indeed Fort, now its called Training Center.
Manricore seems to reduce movement with its Tail attack, and also apparently dungeon Might heros can turn invisible on the adventure map.
Dungeon catapult attack now has dark magic sphere effect.
