I meant 3lvl immune Common Armaggedon spells in Heroes3. 800, 1000, 3000 or 5500 so cast to protection and you wins from enemy, because you saw enemys 1 black dragons or 4 phoenixes or 10 efreets, 2 gold dragons etc. But may be terrorist or assistant hero, therefore you must servants many heroes. RoE taught protection from earth for example. You choices artifacts, skills, HPs and creatures probably!

Disguise would be a good spell in Heroes IV - because you have to choose creatures. There is actually something to disguise.

Playing Nautilus metataxer s revenge map right now. First day I am confronted to tricky battle, I have blind and hypnotize spells, so obviously I am supposed to blind the rusts, kill some of imps then hypnotize them, but can't find a way to protect both ammo card and sharpshooters, the numbers indicate which hex the imps should occupy but there is only one stack. So, hypnotize the best spell here, but how



The only solution I found so far is to kill it with turrets but it takes hours. The odd thing is that shooters near hypnotized creature can't shoot...

It's not odd, they are still your enemies! However, if you can get a Sharpshoot-Bow, then I think you're good to gow! (not a tip of any sort)

yes I know they can't shoot when hypnotized units nearby. The question is why author gives 5 sharps + ammo card, as they obviously can't play any role and the ammo card is destroyed. Bummer.

Disguise spell: good laugh in multiplayer, try it. The guy against you will be near heart attack when he sees your army changing every turn from thin air.

Looks like there may be another solution. I have all first level spells but no expertise other than fire, a few high level spells as slayer, meteor, fire ball, completely useless here (low stats). No disrupting ray to accelerate, no clone, no force field, but summon elementals, 260 mana and 7 spell power, which makes impossible the shoot+blind tactic, rusts have 800x10 HPs.

One possibility would be to cast blind after shooting with sharps (on elementals turn), but the bad guy casts prayer on first turn, rusts get 15 speed with only basic slow applied.

A few days I tried to win this battle, no success. It occurs on first day, so is quick to test.

Destroy the ammo cart, put Sharpshooters in the top-right corner, Crystal Dragon in front of them, and hypnotized Familiar on hex "2" (where you indicated).

You would then run out of shots though... but would be a bit faster?

EDIT: Tested and Sharpshooters only kill extra 3 Rust Dragons with all shots. Gah. I don't know how else to do this other than take long time.

Because easier to type about, and refer to hex 2 ;P Rust Dragons will destroy Ammo Cart anyways

I think it's impossible to protect all of Ammo Cart + Crystal Dragons + Sharpshooters. Maybe the author wanted turrets after all.

In the graphics it shows you have spellpower 40 and 400 spellpoints...

Btw...
- Slayer would probably help a bit (expert fire...)...
- Summon elementals aswell (Fire elementals?....Fireshield?...)

Author says that tactic required does not imply usage of hypnotize, but something about summon elementals. Did not find yet.
