Considering you are not selling this mod I don't see a reason for that. It would be cool to work together with him(it's not like his stuff is original).  
 
What you could do is mention him in your main post or in your game, just a link to his website(something like that). That would be a win-win situation for both of you

Well, sometimes we help each other, but there are limited opportunities to do that.

Basically, Palm Heroes, PK2 and the upcoming PK3 assets are made in another style and perspective, so there is bare opportunity to use them without lots of pretreatment. We are likely to use our own graphics instead.

I know this guy, he lives in a neighbouring town and his homm2-related works are amazing. He keeps tracking our project, perhaps he might participate, but I am not optimistic as usual.

Awesome. I once modded H5 so peasants had crazy stats and could fly over the whole battlefield. Absolutely hilarious to see a peasant run-fly over a castle wall and kill a dragon or something.

Also what's going on with that Titan's foot-shadow?

Amazing video again. The battle terrains is a must-have. Oh, did I tell you that we implemented the dynamic castle looks on different terrains?



Your research in the hero inventory screen is very interesting. I don't know if we are going to implement this though, because H3 system intends new strategic builds with artifacts and general refreshment of the artifact system.

Same for the town, because there is no place for additional buildings.

yes i already saw your dynamic terrain for the castles, really good

i also think the inventory doll and their mechanisms, are more efficient than h2 backpack, but if that implies to sacrifice the creatures images to the half, the artifacts size to the quarter and the hero portrait to the third part, ( there are other important things for example the original font in the name of the hero) i wont accept the h3 inventory.
The same for the inside-castle background and outside screen, mean the captain's garrison.
M purpose was always to do an atmosphere that allows the player to feel the heroes 2 in all his magnitude on the heroes 3 system, creating mods with some visual changes are secondary for me.

just watch the battle against the captain in the video, and tell me the differences. I could keep the archers on the towers, the damage of the moat, the standard background, the bonus for the native creatures, or even eradicate the captain. but which is the price for this? nothing, only play an héroes 3 mod, i hate it

i'm proud of the work, hours, weeks and months of development, but in fact to finish the mod based in my viewpoint, i need at least 1 year, working every day

unfortunately heroes 2 is very poor to do changes inside it

Heroes 2 is rather editable, check Project Ironfist.

I think it will take about 2 years to bring the mod to the final stage. It's long, but doable, and I'm glad to know it has a visible end. I work every day and inspire other people which is good.

After the release, I think, the mod could be combined with some Era minimods which can allow many your ideas.

And by the way, you still didn't send me the scripts
We also have a feature wish list for programming, actually.

Numbers are better IMO. If we have other stats shown in numbers, why not.

in my opinion the speed must be shown like h2. after all everybody knows very fast = 6

and the fastest unit have 7.. so you have 2 more speed up over the limit

the blazing and the instant (8, and 9)

static for 0 ( war machine)
and crawling for 1 ( original concept)

Well, if all the speed names will fit to the creature info window, I don't mind, but still I think numbers are much more convenient.

Will you send us the scripts we discussed? I can make a list, many features are very welcome.
