So, I have preordered a boxed deluxe edition via Uplay(Australia)
any idea on what day it is going to be shipped? Will I receive it by the release date or after?

I bet you $100 it will be full of bugs as usual
seriously, if there are no game breaking bugs in the vanilla release, I promise I will actually donate $100 to charity and post proof in this thread

Dear *,

Product Name: Might & Magic® X – Legacy Deluxe Edition
Qty Ordered: 1
Qty Shipped: 1

Seems the game is being shipped.
Tho I never received my early access boni, at least the game will be playable soon. I predict complications when it comes to first dlc and whether i should get it free - but until then, joy time!
EDIT:
Found one unboxing video already:

My physical box still has not shipped. However, some good news. According to one Russian website, all early access enabled accounts will get an automatic access to the full version on 23rd. Hope its true

I wasn't interested in this game before, but after reading some info on it I might actually give it a try.
If I understand correctly, the full version of the game will be released in a few days.
My questions are as follows:
- I see a Deluxe Edition (boxed) is available in few places. If I will buy one, is it the full game, or sth with only a part of the content, and the rest will be available after 23rd? If so, will there be a different (full) version of the game released on 23rd?
- Did some of you play the game (there was this early access thing)? Is it newbie-friendly (I've never actually played an Might and Magic/Legend of Grimrock style RPG). Is it worth it? Or is it another Ubi-style internet connection issues and buggy game?
I'll probably wait some time after it's released, but I'm curious about your opinions...

Blob,
It is the full version that you see. It also has some goodies in it a a first DLC when it gets released. And yes the game is very fun. Little bit more hardcore then say Skyrim, but easy to get into, friendly place overall and great tempo. Lots and lots of combat though so it may worth it to watch some online video to see whether or not you like the combat.

M&M X has quite the requirements for this kind of game. It looks nice, but it's definitely not the latest Call of Duty in terms of graphics if you ask me. What the hell?
Well, my laptop barely satisfies the minimum requirements for it. I know it's low these days, but I'm not planning to buy anything newer in the near future.
Guess I'll have to pass on this one...

Yes, the optimization of the game looks far from good
And I won't be able to play the game either, I doubt my comp specs satisfies the min req, not to mention is 32 bits OS...
PS: If anyone has something to say about the OP, missing some link or anything, please tell me

Once again Ubi/Limbic is walking on thin ice. Most (potential) new players will say meh when they see the graphics, and thus they won't even touch this. I mean, the graphics are quite nice if you ask me, but we are well aware that's not the point here, no? Besides, choosing the game to be a a spiritual successor of previous M&M games made it look, let's say "original" in this day and age (you don't see many games like these nowadays, If I recall other similar games are Grimrock and some Japanese games like Etrian Odyssey)
And many people that would be interested in the game are veterans like me, who don't invest much in their machines because they like their games for their gameplay, not eye-candy.

I could be wrong, but I think it's related to using Unity and also re-utilization of Heroes 6 graphics (most of the creatures are the same).
Still, let's see how the game feels to the people that had preordered here.

Ubi-Nox said: Hello,
looks like you are excited to play the full game
Unfortunately this day-one patch will be mandatory in order to access the final version, without this one you will be stuck on Early Access version.
So an obligatory 8 GB patch to download the first day? That's a lot
BTW, they delayed both the community Dungeon and the DLC Dungeon. Even after the delay of the game they were short on time...

8 GB ram recommended?
You people are nuts to buy and encourage such settings. This means long loading screens, lags, zero playability for medium machines. They should learn to make games not requiring an alien computer.
Not gonna buy it.
