More info keep coming yet it still sounds very promising - hope it doesn't go down when we get near the beta&release

About the whole "high moddability"...
I'm not sure if it's relevant now, but I heard that H6 was also supposed to be moddable.

H6 was a mess since Nival left....here it isn't necessary to end in the same way.
I'll keep saying in the next months: better wait and see. Beta will be a very important test of the State of the Game, imo.

Having taken a look at the game's text I have to say that I enjoy the flavour and references. The story is serious but there is a general light-hearded tone and a sense of humour to go with it, something that was sorely missing from H6. You get to meet many familiar characters too

I'm hopeful for this game.
I think Might and Magic franchise lacks a fulfilling Single player experience that isn't hampered by multi-player balance (as this can really hurt game resource allocations).
As for familiar characters, I just hope they don't overdo the easter Eggs character ammount and stick to the world's integral ones.

Those portraits look great indeed. I'm having high expectations of this game and I'm hoping to see a revive in the genre with this plus Legend of Grimrock 2 and RoA remake

Looking at the different face expressions in the character artworks it seems that the animated character portraits will be back.
