The problem with lost content and not working keys for some is no bug in the game, but a problem of the servers.
So in order to correct that they have to put them offline, as they did twice already.
And since everyone is wanting this to get fixed ASAP, they simply do it without telling anyone, because that would take more time.
Servers will be online soon enough again, don't worry.

Pretty much this.
And the fact that this isn't specifically a Ubisoft problem as it is a problem with online gaming in general. If things require a server, inevitably, the server will go down at some point. Have some patience.

That shouldn't prevent their customer service from answering ... but they don't even do that.

Not sure about that because they are news bugs AGAIN!!! Without Bugs i'd say you are right but NOW the game isn't still finished!
That's the big deal. Game bugs, conflux & server problems, content lock...too much, imo

Quote: Yeah,
things like these right?
- An old bug is back. It's impossible to create any custom hero.
Its is posible but.
- When playing a skirmish game, it's possible to select "random hero" for computer players, why can't human players select it ?
...
Or even this!
6. Slow time to exit - not fixed.
7. Copyright shows as 2012, should be 2011-2013.
No comments, just LMAO..
No Hermes i don't talk about these bugs they are minors for me and no game breaking.
I talked about the bug who increase cost of spell when you save and load a game.
example: with inferno hero the cost of the spell fire bolt should be 15 mana (13 mana with the dynasty weapon fire affinity), after fews save and load the cost is still the cost is already 17 mana.

Well, haters gonna hate, but Ubisoft has made everything they can to justify the flame. (they'd need to, I don't know, remove the DRM and add mod support for me to actually like this game.)

Wow strategy games, real time and turn-based, are kinda dead. With the exception of StarCraft and Company of Heroes, there is little to choose from. Too bad. My favorite genre.
i also consider strategy games my favorite but imho a couple of strat games is enough. It's vary difficult to master a strategy game (to become a Master in SC2 i had to play around 1,5k games). I'd add total war series to the list of AAA titles (Rome II incoming!!! -> need to save money for a new computer lol).
And as simplicity said - i don't think h6 is bad especially right now - they fixed a lot finally.
I've gotten to the point in my gaming career where I no longer tolerate "mediocre" games, even from my favorite franchises. H5 was playable for me out of the box, so I had no (real, serious) problems. H6 was jacked up from the start for me because no town screens. Then I read about all the drama with the impossible deadlines and then Ubi trying to patch the game and won't let the other dev touch the game anymore and won't pay them.
This game just SMELLS like a cash-in to me.
So while I wait for the entire package to be sold for like $10-$15, all expansions and DLC included, yes, I will enjoy Total War Shogun II and Company of Heroes II. I might even jump on that new Age of Wonders.

Off topic
There is also Eador masters of the broken world who looks promising....
On topic
i don't like mediocre games too but problem is there is no more heroes like on the market... So i try my best to enjoy heroes 6 and not to be too much concern about the quality of this title.

I think, now the game is playable after all. Just had to forget about it for about a year and a half from the release and then started when lots of patches had already been created. It saved a lot nerves this way.

Game was playable for me up until the latest patch. With 2.1 came the headaches: crashes and black screens. So, for me at least, game is not playable.

Yeah, I'm the same. I'm quickly bored with most new games (it's probably related to my age ). I played so many, so each new game that I try really has to have "that something" that will keep me interested for long. And a game full of bugs, even if it's a nice game, will leave a bad taste forever. The worse thing of all is that the more I play games these days, I'm finding more and more that TBS games are the only ones for me, and that's why I have big expectations for every one of them. Maybe Age of Wonders III will make a difference?
PS: A bit off-top, but Heroes franchise really should take an example from the Fire Emblem franchise. Every new entry in the series is practically an improvement over the previous one. I'm looking to try the newest "Awakening" as it is called the best entry yet. I'm afraid that will not happen with Heroes though, as the Emblem franchise is controlled by one Japanese developer (so stability is the main factor here) who also makes another great TBS Advance Wars (I played Fire Emblem and the first two Advance Wars games on a Gameboy and WII, so I can tell that they're great). I'm trying to get my hands on a 3DS (need to save money ) to try Awakening and maybe Days of Ruin. Unfortunetly Heroes under Ubisoft changes it's developer time and time again...

I still question how could 3DO go bankrupt with such a successful franchise that is Heroes of Might and Magic... (even if it's technically Might and Magic sub-franchise)

A few bad decisions. 3DO was the "parent" of New World Computing (people who were responsible for Heroes), so they went down with them. Those bad ideas were: their gaming console 3DO Interactive Multiplayer (yes, there was something like that) which lost the long run with Sega and Nintendo and a few other games which didn't sell well enough (some were really crappy). They were also making another console or things for Playstation or Xbox. Heroes IV or Heroes III Chronicles were the "effects" of 3DO's situation because those were rushed (and thus incomplete in some aspects) as to make fast money to help save the company. That's the gaming market for you (BH was quite a successful little developer until they met Ubisoft )...
