Some more examples; town and garrison numbers (48 for both, I think).

And, as I found out yesterday, capped the primary skills at 99. Thanks for that.

I immediately reload and only after remembered to report it here so I'm not sure if troops were taken from the other slots but those were exactly 254K and the number remain the same.
Did HotA change something about maximum stack size? Don’t remember if they did, but I thought the maximum was 4k each stack (probably due to bit limitations or something like that), which would put a Hero at a maximum of 28.000 troops carried - which, by Phoenix’ words, is indeed way, way beyond the average game already.

Please, in my map The Red Tent I raised more then a BILLION liches move them from hero to hero and sell them, dozens of times (in different matches). I'm absolutely sure you can stack an almost infinite number of creatures. For all I can remember, in SoD you couldn't move a stack of more then 32.000 or 38.000 (not round numbers and I don't know exactly how many) but you could accumulate whatever number you were able to raise (I assume these kind of numbers only happened with raised creatures). But in HotA I already raised about 15.000.000.000 liches in one of my own maps, one of those crowded with piles of gold guarded by 9000*7 gold golems.
But I'm not even complaining, I had done a battle so crazy I decided to equip the Armour while on water and then forgot to trade it for the Admiral's Hat. The next day, when the problem happened I just loaded the autosave. I would have done it just for the loss of movement, if I had found it out sooner. But it's a bug so - bug report with it, who knows? It may lead to the correction of something they weren't previously aware.

SOLVED
I just realized I should post this here instead:
Why does the game crash, and how to fix it? Each time either I or my teammate tries to scroll over a place full of golems on lucid pools, which is blocked by border gates, the game crashes. The place is in the upper part of the surface, on snow.
Save file: FL2.GM2
Password for save is "GG"
EDIT: I legit solved it!

drsylent said: Hello!
We ran into a really strange bug, and it seems like this happens all of our recent games...
I play with two of my friends over Hamachi, with TCP/IP. HotA+HD is enabled. (We couldn't try if this exists in SoD+HD as well.)
As we play through a map, as time goes by, it seems like that the map... changes over time, particularly when data gets transferred between players (the map changed once in front of our eyes, after a day has passed).
The most common occasion of this is, that a map object transforms into a 'Random Monster' orb. This is not a big deal until this affects only decorative elements, but sometimes useful objects turn into these orbs as well, and sometimes they turn into other objects in some form. And it seems like, that sometimes it turns into some object, that can not be rendered properly, and when the camera is put over it, the game crashes.
Did you ever have this resolved? I am having the same issue. After about 4 months into a G sized map (The Devil is in the Details), random red monster orbs just appear on the map. In one situation, a bunch sea serpents got turned into one.
At first this wasn't an issue, but it seems as though once a computer player approaches a part of the map with one of these, the game crashes. And since I cannot alter what the computer does, the game in now unplayable. Very frustrating after my brother and I got through four months of a game.
[...]
Ran into a similar issue on this map:
http://www.heroes3maps.com/map/12074-2-friends
After playing for a couple of months, one subterranean gate turned into a castle... It has the same name and army as another existing castle, but wrong model (Dungeon instead of Tower) and type name (Castle instead of Tower). When one tries to enter it, the game crashes.
We tracked it down to particular day - 334 was fine, 335 had yet another castle broken too and 336 was the one where the subterranean gate was replaced.
I can share the saves if that could help debugging the issue.

Not a HotA bug, but an original game bug, but I still think it's worth fixing.
Counterstrike works for the current round, even after it's dispelled, it's should'nt work after it's dispelled!

HOTA Critical Error - Crash Report
Hi, I am trying to play this game with a friend and I keep getting the same critical error message. The crash log is copied below. If I try to load the game this error message will appear in the menu before it even shows me the available load files. If my friend hosts and loads the game, I will get this error within a minute of playing the game, usually when the turn is passed. We have tried a number of different things to resolve the issue. We've looked on forums and I've adjusted different settings to try to fix it. I've even completely deleted the game from my computer and re-downloaded it in hopes of fixing the problem. It keeps occurring. We're completely lost. Can you guys please help me figure out what is going on?

Critical errors
So, my friend and I are trying to play against each other or playing together against bots, and during the game, either 75% my friend gets a critical error, 25% i get one, making us unable to finish the game, which makes it really frustrating and annoying. Most of the time it happens during the bot moves and once it happended after i entered a portal that my friend crashed. Here I'm gonna post two different logs, the first one is the friends crash log and the second mine.
Hope you can help us since we want to at least finish a round.

Crashes on huge maps are quite often. You could try loading 1-2 weeks from before the crash.

Map changes when playing multiplayer over the internet
Hello there, i've encountered a problem while playing with my brother multiplayer online, random map, 2 human vs 4 AI. While at the beginning everything was fine at some point the map starts to change and some artefacts and monsters behave strangely. When it's the AI turn he tried to get an artefact which causes the game to crash. Does anyone know how can i solve the problem or a workaroud for it(remove the artefact from there, put monsters in front so the AI can't get there, or others)? I've put the log and a picture. In picture the "Monster" was initially a dendriod production building. You can still enter it but it is shown this way.
The picture is here: https://ibb.co/Vw4hd57
The log is here:

Okay I encountered a really strange bug today:
While AI was having it's turn, it used Water Walk or Fly and somehow ended it's turn while on water.
The game worked fine, I played my turn and ended it, but when the turn came to the AI player on water, the game just froze forever.
How is it possible for AI to end it's turn on water?!
The bug with AI attacking creatures on water with Water Walk/Fly is also still an issue.

I just had a situation where 5 stacks of dragon flies surrounded my skeletons. So I pressed "g" with my liches and aimed at the skeletons so that I could hit all flies at once. But the liches actually hit my skeletons as well and did full damage to them. I don't think that is supposed to happen.
Now I don't know if the "g" button is a feature of Hota or one of the HD-Mod.

You aimed at your Skeletons, they were the primary target so they received damage. Nothing unusual.
Aimed shot ("G" hotkey) is a Hota feature.

I always assumed liches don't hit your own undeads because they can't harm them. So it's about wether or not the target is in the middle of the cloud or not. Makes more sense I guess, otherwise it would be inconsistent that they can harm any undeads at all. You learn a little something everyday.
