Well I believe that the Sci-Fi comparisons most people label Might and Magic with is that all of it is presented in ways almost identical to things such as Star Trek. Things like skin tight suits, sliding medal doors, nanotech all fit it into the Sci-Fi genre as many people see it. In a way it is more how technology is presented than how advanced it really is.

As long as the tech is used as more than explanations I would say that yes, it's Sci-fi. Of course, that would demand It's more than simply stuff that does things. It needs to be used to explore some subject related to said technology. Otherwise it's just Fantasy that happens to have high-tech stuff in it. For example, even if Might and magic is Sci-fi, Heroes is decidedly not even with high tech technology and space-invaders.

That depends if the space aliens arrive in the Enterprise most people will most likely see it as Sci-Fi if they arrive in say a ship made out of gears with obvious magical themes people will less likely see it that way. It is presentation not technology in of itself.

M&M was sci-fi.
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Likewise, any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology.
Honestly, I think it's splitting hairs to argue about definitions of fantasy and sci-fi, especially since the two easily intersect. Star Wars is primarily tech-based, but also has mystical elements like the Force. The Elder Scrolls universe is primarily fantasy, but also has lost Dwemer technology. Some are like the Sacred universe, where elements like T-Energy are unclear on whether they're straight-up science or magitech.
But I'm just blathering on about semantics at this point.
Sacred is scifi like M&M. The Seraphim are dragon/elf hybrid clones created by aliens to combat the "demon" aliens and their "divine powers" are granted by satellites.

I fully acknowledge that my knowledge of the Sacred universe is limited to the first zone of Sacred 2 and repeatedly listening to the Blind Guardian song.

You don't need to apologize. I appreciate the clarification. My original post wasn't even intended to be a serious debate of any kind - I acknowledged my blathering because I literally was just blathering out whatever came to mind.

I disagree. If there is some science to the ship It's sci-fi but if the ship does look like the enterprise but no explanation for how it travels etc. It's still fantasy. given nothing else technological gets the explanations for how they work. If someone in a fantasy work has supposedly high-tech armour it's going to be fantasy until that armour gets some explanation for how it works and the implication of its existence is explored in some manner beyond "she gets stronger wielding it".

pretty much
Star Wars has gotten many explanations for things after the fact but the original trilogy (as boring as i find it to be) is pure fantasy

Totally agree. Lucretia has a potential to be an Ashan hero that has interesting story to follow. After all, she was seduced by Sandro to become a Necromancer, hence she could be someone to continue his legacy... and maybe, just maybe bring her mentor back somehow... Just make her more prominent and more important... I would also like to see more Sveltana in the future as well...

So... Enroth import, overdue update, blog narrator, fan favourite, boring, hot, skelieface, skelieface, most annoying character from Necropolis Campaign 2, and Damodar from the D&D movie.
Not terrible, overall.

I am not certain if it is wise to call the oldest woman in Ashan hot. Especially if she is (un)dead. Might turn nasty.

There are varying degrees of hot. Some you pursue, others you admire but consider unreachable. I feel she falls under the latter category.

Yeah Lucretia doesnt come off like that person to me. And she was fine and dandy in H5, unlike Markal who was like REVENGE!!!

Don't forget that beside normal heroes we have also campaign heroes, so she can come back in game anyway.

Really? I thought you could find better nicknames for them. Oh, and there is more then just one "Enroth import"... to be honest only Lyla is fresh character, rest was present in previous games.

Then it's good that she isn't the oldest woman in Ashan.
