This game devours my ram literally.
Another crash pre battle.
The towns looks tiny.
Animations are off.
Graphics are awful given the requirements.
Same abilities everywhere.
But yeah the resources sound too "ashan" so they gotta go first. The rest can wait...
And for heaven's sake make golems a 2x2 creature. And the disciple can be smaller.
As for the specializations they are here to stay it seems. A shame indeed. I still believe it s all a conspiracy so the game has zero replayablity in order to sell more dlcs! I really can't believe they went there with the specialozations! Especially when almost all heroes have the same wheel.

Recommended Requirements are always: 3 times the Minimum Requirements.
That also means that if your PC is almost 5+ years old, you will have major issues with the game.
Therefore, under Quad Core of a PC, the chances are: very little possibilities to enjoy full spectrum of this post Windows 6.x O.S. of a strategy game.
Still, many Windows 7 PCs will still struggle to run this game properly. In other words, a 2012+ of PC is quite recommended for processing glutton of game like H7 is set to have become.
And, yes, it is made to be the Vanilla Edition(v.1.0) upon September 29th release. The Caramel Edition(v.2.0) will be the first expansion as to add more features and, a seventh faction to the game. The Chocolate Edition(v.3.0) will be the second expansion as to add even more features and, the last faction to the game(eighth one). This is not counting how many patches will be added to the Vanilla Edition + one or two for the Caramel Edition + one more for the Chocolate Edition.
Please note that there are strong possibilities of a stand alone edition as for the Chocolate Edition and, the Complete bundle Edition. By 2017, Most of patches will be focused on the compatibility of the game towards the newest Windows O.S. Edition of that time(Win. 11 is a strong possibility).

Nice initiative but it is too late, the game is gold now. So be ready for 1000+1 patches after the release.
PS: anyone else got message that Uplay servers are offline? Or just me? Also their blog is unavailable.

Not at all. Microsoft hinted at windows 10 possibly being the last new os which is going to be constantly updated. I don't really believe that but fact is that win10 is here to stay for a longer time.

Mine is touching on 4 years old but has no problems running the game with every setting on "high". Well, a few crashes, I admit, and I didn't play anything but the small map so far.

Interestingly, Did you know Gaming released a video about the Heroes games. There aren't too many new things to be seen, but anyway, it was quite a good watch.

I like Academy, Necropolis, Stronghold and Sylvan  . Somehow Dungeon and Haven don't strike me in the right way  .
One thing they all miss, though, is the full creature line-up. Academy comes closes, just misses the Genie.
