I was talking about the patching process, not about the state of the game at release. In that regard H7 seems to be awful

Working multiplayer is irrelevant if the game is a mess. In H6 almost all abilities were bugged one way or another.

Indeed. Nice to see it confirmed in the movie. But is this for the one that's going to hit the cinema? Or the trailer for the next expansion? Because if I am not mistaken, the movie takes place during the first Orc invasion, depicted in Warcraft 1. At that point, Dalaran was still grounded. Dalaran only lifted up during the Wrath of the Lich King episode, which is somewhere around Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft.

It's funny because while most of that stuff like domes and spires are things Dalaran always had, it was done in a way that it created an unique aesthetic i feel.
I wonder if the result of movieDalaran is actual Heroes influence or them ramping way up the persian influence that the high elves and dalaran always had. Anyway, the result looks very Academy.

Well I disagree. I think that they finally got one. The 3DOs game , while being my sweetest game memory ever , did nothing (in my opinion) to set up a worthy visual identity for the factions. And the lore (except maybe with IV) was pretty limited.
But that 's my opinion.
One question , Galaad. As a regular reader , I m always wondering 'why must this guy always talk in absolutes. Like is opinion is a commending fact.' . Seriously , the last time I read you it was something like 'HOMM7 does not fit the spirit of Heroes' (something along those lines , I m no native english speaker so recalling a sentence is quite hard for me) ... I m getting personal here and I kinda apologize but as a regular reader and a legitimate 'old' player of heroes , I always feel a bit frustrated when I read this.
I truly don't mind you having a different opinion or a negative one , just please write it as such pretty please ?
Since I've put the cat out of the bag , its getting more and more a trend of HC this days. People are getting more and more angry , disrescpectfull of others opinions.

And for years it was pretty enjoyable , a lively place with debates and respects. Now it seems everyone is at each other throats.
It's like everyone turned into Jolly Joker and its supreme arrogance but without his talent and mind blowing game analysis skills. (yeah long time reader). It saddens me a bit to lose this place where I can read big and small talks about the game I love.
My point is , you have silent readers like me , think about us when you write boys and pleaaase relax and respect !
Now I go back to being a silent reader again

Well I'm sorry but you will find no one telling you Ubi games look akin to 3DOs. Everything is different, first it's full 3D environment, then the whole VISUAL STYLE is different. Some may like it, others not or won't care much as long as mechanics are satisfying, but it looks DIFFERENT, like ANOTHER GAME.
Besides, probably the overall atmosphere in here and in other fan forums would be better if the game itself hyped for a full year didn't turn out as it did.

That's great but what he wrote is that the 3DO games didnt have unique visuals. Which leads back to my point "you cant lose what you never had"
