do you really believe any developer wants to release a "shoddy" product? there are many other factors beyond just the developers will.

I don't actually. But Limbic shook my belief. They knew that game is a mess at least since Beta 2, and yet they fixed nothing.

Oh Sure:

Patch 1.5 now available
Patch 1.5 top lines:

   Further improved multiplayer in combat and on adventure map for out of syncs
   Additional content: 2 new Maps, 12 additional Heroes, 5 additional Neutral creatures.
   Fixed long loading times experienced by some of the users, which were caused by recompiling low quality shaders
   Improved animation system for smoother combat animations
   Improved AI, Editor and other various Gameplay/Level Design elements (173 fixed bugs)

they fixed the Open Fire and now it doesn`t full flank without the ablity but in the description says +10 attack while when I right click on my unit - it says +8 attack.

I dunno why are they lowering warcries even further.

Them tooltips are a mess!
The bug i mentinoned earlier kind of makes large maps unplayable:/

I mean, abilities doesn t really need to own to a specific skill, they could pop into the wheel to improve the overall quality of every skills regarding the faction, whatever... For example, most abilities of Academy could spawn into the sorcery skills.. Most of the abilities of the Castle or Dwarves could spawn into the Economy skills. In doing things like this you could have respect the Lore and give to each factions an affinity to some skills.

Last example, Undead are not necessary bad and couldn t have a "Dark magic school" or a "Death magic school". But anyone know ? If heroes 3 have a unique skill faction why don t we copy paste it ?!...

Tried the new scenario about the elven mage; did someone even tested that map? Because after some point dialogue windows start to appear at the start of an ENEMY turn and closes at the start of mine. Reloads/restarts don't help.

YES I encountered that too and at the same time visited my new adv. map object Vault of the Mages. I thought myself I screwed the script - learned 3 new spells and forgot all the rest while it was a bug actually. Glad to know !

We need urgent hotfix - heroes now lose abilities and spells when loading a game.

Maybe they tried to take the level cap off? Or tried to take away the point investment for ranks?
Smth got really wrong here and it s hotfix material asap!!!!
As for the level cap they should really give 15 points more for rank usage of be done with the rank restriction.

Why more points? If you level up past level 30 every point above that will be spent on new perks/skills.

In arena map my heroes are level 30 and don`t need Explorer so they have enough points, sometimes I invest 3 points just for stats - Novice Paragon , +2 Att +2 Def, +2 Magic +2 Spirit. Some heroes like academy and orcs can really use even more points - all their abilities in the racial tree are really cool.

In a full map you spent points on Explorer and also some useless creeping perks so when they remove the cap and if the map allows it you can gain 3-4 points more so that the final build resembles that one of an arena hero. In full map we also have Blind Brother, School of War, Arcane Academy. The price 5000 gold is fair when you get new point to spent(kind of) in a non-infinite experience environment.

no i mean this:
level cap off. after level 30 the hero would only level up and no new perks. you just can't learn every perk! it's uninteresting.
so we are left with 30 points.
but the thing is that spending points in ranks makes perks more difficult to get.
but the ranks give bonuses too. they are not completely useless.
so we need to pay for them.
so 15 more points for rank investment would be nice.

why no  points after level 30? Only few maps will allow you to level 35 for example. And that points will be well earned. If map allows level 50 and you get every single perk than it is map`s problem partly.

when being able to get EVERY perk then where's the fun in strategic thinking about what you are going to learn?
what i meant was that we have to have a point cap so we cant get every perk. it will either be 30 with ranks not costing points or a slightly higher number so we can cover the rank problem(although it's not that of a problem since ranks give bonuses too)

if u lv past u should be able to leran everything but that should be hard tough and only a Option for very big maps, no Point in restricting perks and allowing lv 30+ the heroes will be strong anyway and nor very uniquipe with so many skills at lv 30
