Why backtrack and think of all those old things when we can have some new campaign that maybe will give a slight hint of an ashan conclusion or just the future after dark messiah?
Why not even some reskins or smth that light to bring some alternative line ups? Nightmare(shadow unicorn) anyone? a manticore maybe?? Any alternate support unit for dungeon? Maybe the faceless could take the place of an irrelevant creature in the dungeon faction 
Maybe the medusa will be replaced by a manticore!! Maybe even the troglodyte could take a backseat and an evil eye could do some work
Or at least new and lots of skirmish maps!!

@marzhin: how do you feel, working for ubisoft? do you feel fulfilled in your job? do you like your boss? do you think he likes you? is it a team thing, with deliberately coming out with an unfinished product that is a rip-off of the last, or was that due to exec's breathing down your neck with a timeline?
also, what's your favorite heroes game of the series? mine's homm3. you know, the last one that was awesome, before the entire series went down the toilet with homm4-7? why does your company produce substandard games for a clientele they apparently despise, and only want to drain of cash?

It's very fitting in here. Not for the fact Marzhin will probably not reply more in here than if it has been in messenger, but is a good shout to recall everyone what is the truth going on, and that there are actual reasons preventing some fans to even enjoy H5 despite the great mechanics that one has.

People are afraid to ask tough questions, good on you for doing just that but I believe hes most likely under a contract and isn't exactly allowed to say what he really feels about it...

Well back in the time when Heroes IV was a shock for me (what are those hidious graphics? Behemtoth anyone?) I hated Axeoth cause I simply 'blamed' it for the destruction of my beloved H3 old world. But the more I played the game the more I was in love with it. Of course it will never beat H3, but it has it's own special place. The world itself was nothing outstanding but the writing in campaigns was good (excluding the expansions of course).
Ashan is a no-go for me. At first I kinda liked the concept behind it, but now it only reminds me of the Ubi-downfall of the series...
