Though why go to all this trouble, deleting pages of MM and the forums? I mean, the games are out, supposedl;y there is still a small chance people will buy them. And unless the franchise is not be for long in the hands of Ubi, why are they taking down the main portal?

i get that. But i still find it excessive for a page that is up and going since MMH6. To be closed when MMH7 expansion was just released is a bit weird.... that's all i am saying. And is it really that expensive to keep a webpage going? It's not like it needed any maintenance or whatnot

I just noticed that they also removed the interactive skill wheel (pizza?) from the H7 website. In the past you could click on a hero class (e.g. Sylvan --> Avenger) and you could virtually level up and down the hero by clicking on abilities on the skill wheel. It was actually pretty neat to have as a tool, as you could tell immediately (without entering the game) which classes have access to which skills (excluding random skilling). Did they remove that to reduce the content load of the website or due to the fact that random skills were added? I vote option (A).
Sounds like Ubisoft is going through compressions budgétaires across the board right now.

I was going to say that it can't be it because the cost of keeping the website like that running, can't be That expensive and then I checked and the website works again, probably some hiccup on the servers

Not long after they said forums would still be available for discussions and whatnot? Sometimes I wonder if Ubisoft is lead by enraged humongous bipolar Siamese twins.

Regarding all this clean up, there's the faintest of hopes Ubisoft is making room to give MM away to someone else. But as Gandalf said certain day: "Only a fool's hope".

Nah, they do it, like, as in GoT or Big Bang Theory now and order a whole package of seasons, err, successor games, so it's 8, 9 and 10 you can consider confirmed.

They decided to merge the franchises. "Anno Septimus Draconis 999 - Might & Magic's real-time fantasy city builder.
Err, sorry. "Ghost Recon Ashan", Might & Magic's ehooter game.
Nah, just kidding, it's an AAA thing: "Might & Magic: Dungeon's Assassin's Creed"

Well, I would probably play this one.
Jokes aside, I would. I like such games. As long as timetravel and that stuff do not make it. Classic stealth and assassination please.

SoilBurn said: Hi Dan,
Related to your comment about the game needing another "4 months to finish": When a game needs 18 months after release to finish, then something is obviously wrong - either with the developer, the publisher or both. This is not an early access game we are talking about. The bugs should have been fixed mostly before release, not afterwards.
No argument from me in that regard. Let me get a couple ranks higher up with in this industry and it wont be a thing.
if a producer publicly states that their product does not function as advertised then it is either recalled or refunded; NOT PERPETUALLY SOLD!

Can you see the loveable irony? I'm buying a new PC due to hardware issues, but even if it will meet the requirements for HOMM7 (barely minimum requirements, go figure, that's optimization for ya) I will still get a broken HOMM7 because way I hear it the patch broke the game even more.
Are they playing pranks on me?

I also disagree a lot with Momo's last post.
Just out of curiosity, what did you disagree about? I was mostly supporting your line of reasoning, saying I would even like a RTS with a M&M setting.
