No it is not. And a lot of Fury voters were just hatred former Fortress voters wanting to ruin the game anyway (remember the comments?).
If Fury truly is the most favored faction by overall community, it will prevail a second round.

I really don't see how a second round of voting would be unjust. It would be more fair. A lot more fair.
It's not denying anyone their choice. It's just making sure whichever wins actually has the majority's support.

i seriously doubt that
i think other people that voted for fury deserve some respect in the choice they made and eventually won
whether we like it or not

First, it's a second round, not a re-vote.
Second, it's not out of the blue. It's not without explanation. The explanation is the exact same as the explanation for why there are two rounds for Dungeon.
And third, if my favorite had won, and then a second round was announced, would I be excited? No. Would I think it's fair? Absolutely, without a doubt.

I don't think a second round would work without re-vote. I think Strength lost a lot of votes to people voting against Fury and Balance. If they had known there was second round, they would not have done that. So, I think we should either have a complete re-vote or leave it like this. I think having a tacked on second round would not be as fair as people think.
By the way, can someone please tell me why people are so offended by Fury? People are free to have their own opinions, but the reactions are pretty extreme. If the artworks ate anything to go by, I think Blade Dancers look way better than Emerald Knights and they have similar roles. Root Snakes are a no for me. I would have liked to see the Unicorn return, bit I think the Sun Deers are an okay substitution. As I said, people are free to dislike the line-up, but I think the amount of hate is undeserved.

I am of like minds with Kronos1000. The Fury hate is overblown and the "second round" wouldn't pan out.
Still, probably best if we divert discussion from the matter and focus on current affairs.
So... what do you think the Soulless will look like? I'm banking on something like a "hollow" suit of blackish-purple armour, like a ghostly knight without actually being a ghost... possibly with some aura spilling out of it.

Main reason is I would dig to see Troglodyte and Medusa in action again from H3 or similar...

Wait untilnext week, when some concept arts will be revealed. Then we will know what are Soulless about. Besides, in HoMM I and II Warlock city (predecessor of Dungeon) had gargoyles, which are just enchanted statues with some traits of living organism. Since gargoyles are now Academy Creatures, then, since MM:H VII is somehow a tribute to the second iteration of this franchise (all six factions from Heroes II, comeback of palladins/swordmasters as the most powerful creature in Castle/Haven, phoenixes nearly present in Sylvan, plot of 'game of thrones, etc.), then developers came out with an idea of Soulless, a tribute to Gargoyles in Dungeon.

If Sylvan lineup was to have a second round, then a re-vote of the three would be needed. Too much happened in that vote, lineups getting absurd amound of votes in one night etc.
But as I've said before, the damage is already done. With Ubisoft having announced Fury as winner (and stating that the team started working on that lineup), there's no chance for any re-vote or second round.

I still have my doubts on how Fury got so many votes in one night (and in another day too). After all the cheating that happened (on all three lineups, though more on some than others) there was no clear image of which lineup deserved to win.
Oh, and the lack of Unicorns AND Phoenix don't help either.

well, a simple rule is that when a winners has been announced, regardless of its process, it should be so.
It would be unprofessional to change it just because some bitter fans who were defeated fair and square wanted a second shot.

Fair enough. If Ubisoft chooses to ignore all the mess and stands for its snow, I wouldn't be surprised.
At least, I hope to see Unicorns as neutral so we can mod the faction and include them alongside H6 Phoenixes.

I'm loving the drama so far! 
Was a bit concerned for a while that people might've learned to be civilized. Now I see I had nothing to worry about. The reproaches, the flame wars.. dare I say it's even better than Sylvan? Yep, yep. And there's still way more to come, we're only in phase one of the vote. Phase two's gonna be murder
