I'd say H2 re-used a lot of H1 stuff, not H3

Yeah that's kind of a blank statement.
Unlike its predecessors, H3 didn't have any hand-drawn art in-game.

I think H3 looks a lot like H2, but with updated graphics. For instance most of the adventure map buildings are the same, but with more details, perspective, shadowing etc.
It's not possible for H7 to use H6 models directly, since it's a new graphics engine. But they might use the same design concept.

Reusing models is not a problem per se. Reusing bad models is. I see nothing wrong with reusing good models, in fact I think they provide consistency. But then again I don't believe they have reused anything to begin with. The real issue is that we got bad hero models with some ridiculous features, like cloth pieces covering their faces, wings, circles, brown skin and white eyes. But if they get fixed (and I hope they will, because of community pressure), you'll see that no one would ever care if their models are reused or not.

I agree if something is done very well who cares if it was reused or not.

uh... what? why would a different engine make it impossible to reuse models? do you know what an engine is? lol
it is possible and that's exactly what they're doing, I bet we'll see reused H6 models and animations to beat the band
also, Heroes 3 did not reuse ANY graphic assets from Heroes 2 whatsoever, not a single one

Yup, it was like a completely different game(and one of the reasons why I didn't like H3 as much as H2).

Some nice hints regarding the editor. It sounds like they really put some effort into it.
The possibility to tone down the frequency of the fly-cam is also nice; they seem nice for sieges and battles between large armies, but it would be over the top to have them before every fight.

Night maps and weather effects. Map Editor and possibly modding tools too. No more neon colors and return of Legacy Heroes (Sandro please!).
I see only good things there.

Mostly but not all, some were informing, like about night maps and weather effects or about units tiles size and scale.

If you look at artworks of Necropolis or Sahaar Orcs in Duel of Champions, you can easly guess, what they would look like in Heroes 7.

Tweak them to be larger or smaller? If the adventure map camera is as zoomed in as in H5/6 then I don't find any reason to make them smaller tbh.
However if the adventure map camera is more zoomed out to encompass all the (arguably necessary) 3D eyecandy bulls*t then larger unit models are a must.

Oh God Almighty, I hope this means a lot less green and purple, and not just "a little bit". I'm positive, for now...

If they plan to change the formula of cutscenes, this is how they should look. If they would be half as good I will still be satissfied.
