Such a disappointment. Liches, lamasu and vamps are pretty much the same as in H6, with only a few minor changes and different colours. Same stance, same weapons, same hair(or lack thereof), almost same clothing.. Other than champions we essentially get the same H6 lineup with ghouls being replaced by spiders. How exactly is that a good idea?
Also why get 2 elite flyers in a faction that is supposed to be low on mobility?
But I just can't believe that the ghost, lich, vampire and lamasu are H6 copies. I expected better considering what we've seen from haven.

It would've been perfect if there was a Mummy instead of Lamasu, if the Lich was skeletal and the Vampires more Nosferatu style.
But the Reapers....... THE REAPERS OMFG!
I can't believe I'm have so many mixed feelings right now.

One thing I've learnt from working with Rob & Paul on H6 is that they're not big fans of "illustrative" music. So even if you ask them to do music from an "Arabian Nights" faction they will never take the "obvious" path and will come up with something unexpected -- in this case, a waltz. Have to reply on this in spite of Necro-gate, I think the Academy theme is a logical choice by R&P since it's almost like the continuation of the H6 Necropolis theme with the same "walk on the clouds" strings, which to me represents the common roots of the 2 factions and magic itself. I love it and the theme of Necropolis of H6 is among my all-time favs. Now I'm VERY curious how H7 Necropolis will sound like!

Although I appreciate Nosferatu as a movie classic I would be furious if they would put a vampire that would look like one from Nosferatu. Why? In 1920's they may heve been intimidating but those huge ears, funny teeth and long fingers would look riddiculous by modern standards. Sorry, but no.

I believe Ubi keeps Limbic under the boot and treats them like a dog with scabies, giving them a dirt-poor budget, pressing them on deadlines and expenses. Of course Limbic isn't allowed to say anything about this or they would get burned, so they just try to bluff

I am not sure why do you think that faction is supposed to be low on mobility. Pretty much in every Heroes game Necropolis had the most flyers or at least be at the top with other factions(It had 3 Flyers in H5 for example, 3 in H4, 3 in H3...)
They are supposed to be low initiative faction, not low mobility.
Other than that, I agree with you about everything else.

Giving the vampires some overblown Voltran style sword is such a bad idea.. Darkness and rags suit the Necropolis, not all this fancy stuff.

I'm actually kinda sad that the vampires lost their glowing green sword. Ever since H5, I liked looking at the vampires and having Rhapsody of Fire's "Emerald Sword" song popping in my head. 
Given how many things in H7 have put RoF songs in my head, this is the first notable subversion.
