Sandro400 said: Nope. They'll just sell add-ons later if HD edition becomes success.
That's how marketing works. They can't throw too much money on a project that has very little chance to become commercially succesful. So, no AB or SoD. But if HD will sell well, they'll redo addons and sell the as well. And then a "complete edition".
Sure, you'll be frustrated, angered or else. But Ubi is a company. It loves making money and hates losing money. But in reality, this whole HD-edition is a big sign of good will from them - it has all the chances to fail on the market and cause financial losses.
listen, unless you actually have any notion of the cost and risk of that project, which neither of us do, you'd probably do well not to come in and suggest people are false fans who should be throwing ourselves off cliffs in thanks for Ubisoft's charity,
because I promise you they're not spitting out this botched HD collection of Heroes 3 out of the pure goodness of their hearts, any more than their $10 "adventure packs" of three maps each from back in the day deserve genuflection and saintly praise

I've never heard of this before voting so I believe that it was invented to allow inferno be one of playable races. It was thin and full of holes but it shows that lore can be changed when its needed.
I also agree with War-Overlord that incorporating skeletal liches into the lore is something that they just don't wanna do. Simple as that.
*edit
I'm glad to see that your behind still hurts from that whooping I gave you during Inferno voting.
so the things havent revealed yet are equal to "holes" and "inventes" in your logic.
and by last lines you mean brute moaning as "whooping that gave behind hurts."

The first mention of this was actually in the Dark Messiah map done for Heroes V. I know because I created this map

With the new Ten Years of War Paragraph, I think we just got shown who the Elf representative might be.

It's good to see that lore articles, Giovanni and Tieru are back. I missed them.

I think we all expected Tieru to be representative for Sylvan.

They could have pulled a legacy hero out of the hat, or a Findan.

No, I think it is used quite a bit in Duel of Champions, actually. I know it's part of Ignatius' backstory, although I don't know how much of it made it into the actual game. And it would have been a big point in Might & Magic: Raiders, had it not been cancelled.
Long story short, it's been part of the lore since the beginning.

True but let's not forgot that Tieru is also a big figure in Ashan.

In CoH, which is about 50 years after Heroes VII, Findan is still a teenager, so at the time of Ivan's rise to power he was a baby or didn't exist at all.

The way Elves age, someone of 200 could still be considered a Teenager.

Ok, that settles it. It might be weak but at least its not made ad hoc.

Although in terms of looks he wouldn't be so much different from Anastasya, Findan in Clash of Heroes behaved still quite like teenager, so rather is out of place in terms of searching for potential Shadow Council member.
